I was told that by going organic and having only organic soil, that if you use any of the nutrients "soup style" you are being counter productive and actually are killing the beneficials in the soil. Example. A grower is using compost teas once a week and then uses chelated ferts from the store mid week. Would this be correct? Also in going with totally organic soil, is it true that until the soil is self sustaining, that the grows will be smaller at first while the soil is building itself up? If yes to the last question, how long does it take to build the soil up to at least get to the point where it was as good as the fert soil.

I understand that the totally organic plants grown in the manner you are growing yours shows a substantial smoothness that cannot be achieved by using over the counter ferts. Am I correct in this fact. Thanks Seaf0ur. I love learning about this and I am sure others like hearing from one who has been there and done that.

Even when someone wants to go organic, its still hard to break the grow store mentality.... This is bio-dynamic gardening... low-level of input is an incorrect statement, I input botanicals, topdressings, hell new outdoor leaf litter to introduce new specie.... I use fermented plant extracts, aerated teas of many botanical variety.... I use a living mulch of both clover and barley which I chop and drop in place.... there are plenty of inputs... but I have given control over to the plant to take what IT wants... not to only have available what I have recently poured on it.... but I'm a dirtfoot hippy. most of you would be terrified if you saw the variety of life present when you pull back what you can of my mulch...

there you go,you have to have a constant level of input, its not alive, its on life support, once its indoors its just fancy medium,i simply dont believe humans can create soil...

what i meant was lacking the power of the sun to drive all the processes that go into creating actual soil along with the billions of interactions that go on outdoors it aint soil, its mimicry at best...
im not saying its not a sound method of growing and im sure the herb is great, but it aint soil, and in my opinion sort of tail chasing unless done outdoors.

and maybe if its not to much trouble we could steer back to the actual topic of this thread,no offense intended, but this is not the organic bamboo growing thread..

yes... there are no bottles allowed in my garden other than neem oil. I do use agsil 16h potassium silicate to emulsify that neem oil for foliar sprays.... thats a questionable powder... OMRI listed, but on the questionable side. back to topic... bamboo, to continue this topic, click the thread in my sig... and we can talk more there. more organic heads.

idk Unc the soil is still alive even in your home that's why your shit grows so good!

This reminds me of the time I asked Unc about some mushrooms growing in my pot, indoors...

after this last summer I'm convinced on growing in a green house.. outdoors is great but hard to keep the weather off of. Rain, hail, and wind made me a believer.

Hi everyone! Thought I would humbly drop some pics of my first glue plant. I'll pull her out and get some better shots tomorrow. I have a new phone coming with a 13 megapixel camera so I'm hoping it will take some nice pics.

I believe she is about 38 days and has really swelled up in the last week since i started adding pk13/14. She is in a 2 gallon coco hempy growing vertical with 6 other plants sharing 2 600's and she is looking like she will out yield everything including a sssdh thats getting the same amount of light.

I wanna say thanks to Josey for sharing this with the community and also to the person in this thread that gifted her to me. Its not often when a stranger takes the time out of their busy schedule to gift you a full grown glue plant and ask nothing in return!

Hey thanks Dan! You probably cant see in the pic, but I have wire running from some of the weaker branches to a support pole in the back of the bucket. If all else fails I will probably add a couple more poles throughout. You guys werent kidding when you said she gets some heavy buds tho!

Seaf)ur, what is the link you want me to go to in the interest of talking more about organics rather than doing it here in the glue thread. I am very interested in your style and am humbled that you would take the time to talk to me.

So my glue are back from throwing three finger leaves to throwing fives from all the bud sites. Not sure what happened there but they def went wonky on me for a minute.

Guessing it won't be the best run but it's only the first run so....
