I remember when,.......

I remember "lumbo" from Columbia when I started smoking in the early 80's. Leafy brown bud with huge seeds. Within a couple years it was gone and all we could get was brick weed.

Wish we'd saved those seeds... Great landrace!

Just a bag of red bud Colombian or gold Colombian. Even the "brand" name Mexicans where some of the best smoking sativas there here. Like red bud Colombian best of all. Even with all the seeds. :tiphat:

I remember when in school you go to the principle office you got three licksfrom a paddle on your butt.

I remember the television channel knob would sit on top of the tv broken and you had too fix every time you wanted you turn to a different station.

I remember when the only tool you had was a kitchen butter knife and tape.

I remember when...

I remember when...

...the U.S. wasn't a Prison Nation

'to serve & protect' has been replaced by 'to punish & enslave'

By age 18, 30 percent of black males, 26 percent of Hispanic males and 22 percent of white males have been arrested.

By age 23, 49 percent of black males, 44 percent of Hispanic males and 38 percent of white males have been arrested.

While the prevalence of arrest increased for females from age 18 to 23, the variation between races was slight. At age 18, arrest rates were 12 percent for white females and 11.8 percent and 11.9 percent for Hispanic and black females, respectively. By age 23, arrest rates were 20 percent for white females and 18 percent and 16 percent for Hispanic and black females, respectively.

:dance013: Man,i loved the old Lumbo Gold when I was like 13.Me and a bunch of friends used to all go snow shoveling and pool our money 2gether and go buy a big a$$ bag of CG.Head to the Pizza Shop and play Dig Dug and Donkey Kong high as hell and drinking Coca Cola out of the glass bottles. For some reason, the soda tasted better and was way colder out of the glass, Man I loved the early 80's!.Heres a couple buds I took of some CG I put up here in a thread back in 06'.Even though we all know that the CG didn't grow Gold,it was the way the harvested and dried it that turned it yellow,it would have been cool to grow out a Gold Sat of CG.. I found the beans in My Brothers room he was hoardin, lol, and then ended up losing the clone from the only girl I got from them,:moon:,it was like a time machine everytime you took a hit.Peace and Stay Safe,DancesWithWeed.

I hear ya. We were young and had no place to smoke but down by the river, or on country roads if we were with a 15-16 yr old who could drive. I've thrown hundreds and hundreds of seeds to the ground after cleaning on a frisbee, big huge seeds 4 times bigger than anything I've seen since. Hindsight is a son-of-a-gun.

I remember my grandpa driving in the old pickup truck to a hill so we could listen to the farm reports each morning. Having to crank the number of rings on the side of the phone so the right person would answer, knowing the entire farm area was probably listening too. Cranking gas into a glass jar above the pump, then allowing it to flow down into your gas tank.

Listening to the steam engine whistle at night in the distance, and getting the "itch" to travel.

LOL

we would drive to the top of a mountain to hear a rock station from the big city, would blaze up and listen to hours of classic rock that was all new to me, thanx for these memories
