Hello.....Good Evening and Welcome!

Cool beans...I always fantasized getting a C 130 ( cargo plane) loaded with sacks of beans and a crew that flew along rivers and waterways dumping sack after sack into the air. Went to Cali back in the day. I was in Bezerkley on Easter 1971, met the Sunshine crew. Always was right on the outside of the big ones but stayed clear for the most part. Been to Wheeler's Ranch, met the Ramones, met the Oak Grove people, made LA, even lived in Eugene during the late 90's. Finally found out the ex was abusing the kids I had with her so I moved back to Texas, got my disability, raked up 20k and got custody of them. Got three of them in college now. Seems I have always had some reason not to grow but I still would like to. But Texas is complete assholes about that stuff so I will just have to be happy reading and following it all here. May be able to move to NM later and do a project but for now, I am trying to qualify for the heart transplant list and need to be in the Dallas area by the VA when I can. BFT(exas) is too risky for me to grow. Too bad because I could use another hobby. I am tired of building tube guitar amps for now. Some of my friends in Denver have it made now. When I lived there, I couldn't qualify for a med ticket...My first time was hash and weed...in Ft. Collins, Co. The damn corn the hippies had fed me was crawling across the plate..lol..that was 69 or so...even got stopped by the heat later and handled it somehow...good old days huh? I had Thai stick in Washington State, and Cambodian Red in Florida. Columbian Gold from Ohio, and all kinds of Mexican and commercial Columbian weeds in the old days...even some religious pot that looked seedy and brown like $50 a pound brickweed but had purple hairs on it that would cartoon your ass on a small bowl. Acapulco Gold was good stuff. A pound looked like a kilo in size. Seen hundred weights several times and missed unloading planes right close to where I live now - on big ranches back in the day. Didn't miss the heat though. Adios amigos...until next time

Its A Whole New World --- 2014 and Beyond

Its A Whole New World --- 2014 and Beyond

I always thought that one day common sense would override the power of wealth and Ganja would become a legal substance in the country I call home---USA. But I just never knew exactly when the madness would end and all the right wing industrialist alcholic types wielding power in the halls of legislative bodies nationwide would die off because thank God an extended lifespan cannot, thus far, be legislated, bought, or bribed in the unforgiving halls of NATURE.

And Marijuana is part of nature. And with the start of 2014 I am now allowed to used marijuana legally for legitimate medicinal reasons in my home state of Illinois, a place where politics and progress in a positive way rarely if ever meet up. They have. I am so happy. And I am going to utilize this community as I navigate my way through a rapidly changing local and national policy on something that I have enjoyed for all of my adult life spanning 25 years. God Bless

John Kerry asked in the Viet Nam Senate hearings after the war, "how can you ask the last man to die for the war?".

My friends are in jail for a war on cannabis that should be over by now. All wars drag on and on.

Free Eddy Lepp and the Gypsy!

Hey ModisBack! ;) BOG

An Amazing Ten Year Aniversary

An Amazing Ten Year Aniversary

So glad I could read this very first thread of International Cannagraphic. Any News on Gypsies situation? If Obama would just de-list cannabis (marihuana), as a schedule one - controlled dangerous substance, which he has the complete power to do, the US indictment would dissolve. Looking forward to reading posts from Gypsy soon.

When I was in my early teens aparently I was a bit of a handfull at school....I was quick to learn at the British boarding school which I attended from just 8 years of age untill I was 12 and I was actually getting some of the best grades for my age in the school.....but then I had to leave because I refused a hydrocortisone injection for child rheumatism in my leg (I had been injected before and it was such a frightening and painfull memory) and ran away from the school because they had tried to force this upon me.....so I was a runaway boy......and they said that I was maladjusted because I always questioned authority and resisted when authority wanted to do anything with me.

I was hyperactive and became very anti-establisment as I learned more about my monarchistic/autocratic/psudo democratic society. I was placed in a 'comprehensive' school in the 2nd year of senior school and was completely bored by it because the standard of education was so much higher at the boarding school I had left, so for 2 years I knew most all of what the teachers were teaching in the comprehensive school and this bored me even more......It bored me to distraction....and I withdrew into my own world of learning what I was interested in........

They sent me to see a shrink after the ring leader of the schools bullies set upon me and I promptly put him thru the cleaning cupboard door in defense and I was suspended from school....This shrink talked down to me like a child and prescribed some medicines that gave me adverse side effects, which made me sick......

Eventually after having to take these laboratory produced psychotropic chemicals for a few months I threw them all away..........but I was still hyper untill my brother shared that first hash joint with me.......and this calmed me down and put it all into perspective. I had found my medicine...... To this day nearly 30 years later I still use cannabis medicinally to control hyperactivity and also to mask the pain in my lower back more recently....

...I have been involved in the cannabis industry since I was 17 years old on a commercial basis and started growing at 18 years old in California....By the time I was in my twenties I was smuggling large ammounts of hash around Asia but at 25 years old I was caught smuggling just a little of my own medicine into England and jailed where I was attacked by some soccer hooligans and ended up in the psycho ward.....this just pissed me off and made me determined to try and make a change for the better concerning the draconian cannabis laws....... In my 30's I founded a headshop and seed company in England called 'Gypsy Nirvana' to start a cunning plan of Overgrowing the planet with good cannabis seeds.....two years later I opened a grow shop called 'Indoor Jungle Supplies' in the U.K. and two years after that I opened a cannabis seed gallery in Amsterdam Holland called Gypsy Nirvana/Seedsdirect.....

In two weeks I will have a copy of the charter edition of 'International Cannagraphic' in my hands....this is a magazine that I have spent 3 years bringing together. This will be a platform for all in the cannabis industry worldwide to network and gain knowledge about cannabis. I hope for it to become the cannabis industries International trade magazine........and it will be a place where we can have our say in the media.

....so if you ask me how important is marijuana in my life.....I would say VERY!
Gypsy Nirvana, heavy story, thanx for sharing. No one should be in jail for a plant! El Presidente, respect !!
