Hi Pinkus,

Where did you get those seeds?
Is it possible to obtain Mullumbimbi Madness seeds?
From what I've heard about it, it must be a hell of a strain.
As far as I know (and in this case it's not much) everybody in Oz who smoked it, raves about it.

A friend passed on F2s to me... and I know he gave all he made away. I'm popping 3 more as this one really exceeded my expectation in almost all respects. This particular plant stays small, at least relative to any other sativa I've grown.

do you have any idea what t's genetics are?

Siever,

I think if you do a search, there is quite a bit posted about it on various websites. I know, because it is a strain I've been curious about for a long time. I believe the most common speculations are that Thai and Colombian are main components in its lineage.

Hi all, some days ago I said I had one female and 2 males. Well, the two "males" showed some female preflowers on top of them. One of the plants has, on the same node, on one side a male preflower, on the other side, a female preflower...which kind of hermies are they?...what should I do?...wait and see and then maybe cut the male preflowers?

thanks in advance

Thai Bliss,

I remember reading the same somewhere, but because pure Haze is also Thai & Colombian
I thought I was confusing Mullumbimbi Madness with the pure Haze.
From what I've read on the net both strains must have simmilar effects.
Never smoked anyone of those 2.

Sweet Flowers,

Just cull them because sooner or later there will be a couple of tiny flowers you've overlooked
& then you'll have tons of seeded bud. Marijuana con semilla no sen semilla

Siever,

If I remember correctly:

Haze - Colombian x Mexican x Thai x South Indian

Mullumbimby Madness - Thai x Colombian mainly with possible indica and Papua New Guinea Gold in the mix.

This is only what I remember reading about as I do not know.

Effects may be similar. However, different Colombians have different effects, different Mexicans have different effects, etc.. The possible combinations of these genetics are enormous. It is possible that these strains could be wildly different. In fact two different plants from any single strain can have significantly different effects, even in relatively stabile populations. Have you ever owned a few dogs? Look at all the possibilities of different varieties. I think Cannabis is equally varied.

Sweet-Emotion - In my experience, hermaphrodites found in early stages of growth are not worth keeping. I'd treasure the one solidly female you found, and do your best to grow it beautifully. Please post pictures of it again soon.

I have a couple of pictures of my own:

These buds are ripening quickly. I think this is week 7, and I doubt these will make it past week 9. I looks like all the original pistils have died, and second flush has gone from white to a yellowish color. Resins are accumulating in impressive amounts.

The aroma is wonderful! Sickly sweet, sweet, sweet flowers with a candied carrot smell.

I have dialed back the daylight time from about 11.75/12.25 to about 11.5/12.5, and reduced the fertilizer to almost nothing. On a lot of buds, even the small leaflets sticking out of the top are turning yellowish. I never had very much fertilizer in the mix for this plant. The yellowing usually occurs easily on the fan leaves of most sativa strains while the small leaves in the buds often stubbornly stay relatively green. Not so with this plant. Yellowing is occurring in these tiny little leaves that make me concerned about mold. I checked the humidity, and it has been near 40% during the daylight hours, so I don't think it is mold. It may be that this is just a "gold" type of strain or individual.

Can't wait to see how it cures and smokes!

Happy Growing,

ThaiBliss

Siever and ThaiBliss, thanks for your advices.

Here are some pics...the good shot is the female Zamaldelica, the 4 bad shots are the male and female preflowers on the other two plants.

Dubi - "Zamal has a unique kind of high, it's crazy, psychedelic and out of control, especially i have found extremely powerful and crazy plants crossing zamal with other sats and sat/ind hybrids. It has huge breeding potential to get incredible sativa experiences in the hybrids..." "...with a terrorific electric high. It can produce serious paranoia and anxiety when correctly grown..." "...some phenos produced some of the most powerful sativa high i've ever smoked. A mix between anphetamine and LSD."

Amphetamine would be the last thing I would mix with LSD. Nepalese Temple hash, yes. I was never fond of "serious paranoia and anxiety"

For me, I'm thinking Double Thai or Vietnam Black / Meao Thai are next up. Are they also a clear high? I'm enjoying a Meao Thai pheno picked from Destroyer. Its calm and clear, the opposite of paranoid and anxious, but it needs some spice. I thinking Highland Mexican, al la Acapulco Gold.

Greetings,

I harvested the Zamaldelica today. What rich, sweet, and fruity goodness I was smelling. It looked positively dripping with resins. I have very high hopes for this.

It was quicker to ripen that I thought it would be, and not especially productive, even compared to other sativas I have grown. But, I think dynamite comes in small packages.

Indeed, Zamaldelica's yield is not big.
Ace say it's "average/high" and being used to Dutch strains I expected more from a 13-week-flowering strain. I've had 13-weekers like Nirvana's Full Moon which easily has twice the yield of Zamaldelica.
On the other hand, Zamaldelica is perhaps the strain with the most energetic effect I've tried, a truly sativa effect with no compromise. Getting a pure sativa effect, rivaling the Haze, for 11-14 weeks is great and in this light the yield is not bad at all, it just can't compare to the Dutch hybrids which have at least a pinch of indica in them and are heavily selected for yield.
Zamaldelica, and I guess most of the other Ace & Cannabiogen strains, are all about quality and unique-ness of effects/flavors. "High" yield here means "high for this kind of quality", and "average/high" yield seems like a fair statement for Zamaldelica.

Mine was done in 10 weeks 12/12, but I let her go a little longer. I wasn't disappointed with the yield either. It's been curing for two weeks now. Another week to ride out my current tolerance break and it should be quite the smoke! :D

Good points Yoss33. Please don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining, just reporting what I am seeing. I grow far more than what I smoke. I would trade 70% of Zamaldelica's productivity for 10% more potency, whatever I find it to be, even if it turns out exceptional for me. I smoked every chance I got for decades of my life. Now, I only smoke rarely. It is not uncommon for me to go a month or two between smokes. But when I do... I want it to be killer, to have an "experience". I'm not looking for everyday smoke.
