thx for your quick reply, but i dont have access to 'decent' nutes. Only the base ingredients.

As im still looking for the base formula i would be much happier continuing to locate a bloom boost recipe that isnt contradictory to 5-6 other 'nothing more than' recipes.

For your perusal, here are a few other 'recipes' that i have come across;

(173g MKP + 241g K2SO4)/L=Hammerhead 0-9-18

MKP - 75.46g K2SO4 - 247.48g

MKP is 52% P2O5 or 22.69% P

22.69 * 10= 226.9

39240/ 226.9 = 173

Amounts per 1L of solution

Hammerhead PK9/18

MonoPotassium Phosphate (MKP) 78.2g
Potassium Sulphate (K2SO4) 91.8g
Distilled Water (H20) 830ml

B'Cuzz PK13/14

MonoPotassium Phosphate (MKP) 47.6g
Potassium Sulphate (K2SO4) 19g
Distilled Water (H20) 933ml

Another one posted by 'british hempire' was;
MKP and Phosphoric acid = PK1314

This doesn't seem right somehow, especially with the wildly varying weights of base salts.
Are there any scientists in the house?
what was the final answer??????

maybe not needed but if wanted is there a final answer ?

(173g MKP + 241g K2SO4)/L=Hammerhead 0-9-18

(MKP - 75.46g K2SO4 - 247.48g)/L=noname 0-4-15

(MKP - 78.2g K2SO4 - 91,8g)/L=noname 0-4-7

(MKP - 47,6g K2SO4 - 19g)/L=noname 0-2-3

Atami PK13/14
http://www.atami-downloads.com/msds/en/ata/PK 13-14 Eng.pdf
Phosphoric pentoxide 15.96%
Potassium Oxide 17.67%

3M(100%) H3PO4 + 5M(100%) KOH --->NPK 0-37,06-41,01
The rate of the two PK is exactly same, you just have to dilute it till you get the wished solution.
60% H3PO4 (g=1,37g/cm3)--->1dl= 137g*0,6=82,2g 100%H3PO4
82,2g/98g= 0,8388M
3M/0,8388=3,57dL (or 3,57*1,37=489g)

15,96%P/37,06%P= 0,43

3,57dL*0,43= 1,53dL 60%H3PO4 (or 210g)
0,43*5M KOH= 120,6g

(60%H3PO4 - 210g KOH - 120g)/L=Atami PK13/14 0-16-18

If you use MKP(KH2PO4, 136g/M) and 2KP(K2HPO4, 174g/M) in 1:2 mol-rate you get NPK 0-44,5-47,5
In this case the rate is similar but the pH is probably neutral.

(MKP - 60g 2KP - 155g)/L=Canna PK13/14 0-10-11
You can not dilute more weight in a liter...

Question for calculation of DRY ferts like Maxibloom and Grow.

How would I calculate an NPK if I wanted to get the P lower than the N?

MaxiBloom 5-15-14 NPK

MaxiGrow 10-5-14 NPK

My initial thought was to do 2/3 Grow and 1/3 Bloom

How do I calculate what this would end up being?

MaxiBloom 5-15-14 NPK

MaxiGrow 10-5-14 NPK

My initial thought was to do 2/3 Grow and 1/3 Bloom

How do I calculate what this would end up being?

N= (10+10+5)/3=8.33
P= (5+5+15)/3=8.33
K=(14+14+14)/3=14

or 3 grow to 1 bloom

N=(10+10+10+5)/4=8.75
P=(5+5+5+15)/4=7.5
K=(14+14+14+14)/4=14

if anyones currently using any of these DIY nute mixes and having success let me know. I have access to reagent grade lab solvents and acids. .. also able to get the salts and others off the net.. but I need some help as to wat ill need. just trying to make it so wen I make my flip box I can afford to runu double the flower space and LOWER MY PRICES.. so I need to get a nute that's cheap.. and produces amazing. buds.. i don't know wat to do .. wat is the cheapest ORGANIC nutes?

and another one ...

CaNO3 15.5%N 19%Ca .71x(df)155.=110ppm N/.71x(df)190.=135ppmCa
KNO3 13%N (46%K2O)38%K .20 x 130.=26ppm N/.20 x 380.=76ppm K
KSO4 44% K 18%S .20 x 440.=88ppm K/.20 x 180.=36ppm S
MKP (51.5%P2O5)23%P 28% K .45 x 230.=104ppm P/.45 x 280.=126ppm K
MgSO4 9.8% Mg 12.9%S .72 x 98.=71ppm Mg/.72 x 129.=93ppm S

Mendocino 75

g/l
CaNO3 .71
KNO3 .20
KSO4 .20
MKP .45
MgSO4 .72
.06 mixes my trace product to iron 4 ppm

g/gal
CaNO3 2.69
KNO3 .76
KSO4 .76
MKP 1.71
MgSO4 2.73

sooo
136 ppm N
104 ppm P
290 ppm K
135 ppm Ca
71 ppm Mg
129 ppm S

...poipu
The above is a golden oldie ... with aaa results ...but the formula is better without kno3 and more CaNo3

I mix a stock solution 200 to 1 for example CaNo3 .71 g per L x 200 = 142 g dissolved in 1 L capacity container... you need to start with less than a Litre so the 142 g doesn, t overflow the container
Thats my part a part b conrains everything else including micros...part b takes a little more care to control precip.

I use the following in my hydro:
Calcium Nitrate
Potassium Nitrate
Mono-Potassium Phosphate
Magnesium Sulfate
Trace element ready powder mix
Phosphoric acid for Ph-
H2O2
I have great results, I use formulas I got from hydro farms only for reference and a ppm meter. it is the best way to fertilize, having perfect control over feeding.
there are other chemicals that i still want but I never needed them so badly. for big scale farms, using more wider range with good testing equipment for each element separately in your mix enables farmers to recycle their fertilizers indefinitely. That is they not only test TDS total dissolved solids, but also test for n p k ca mg s fe mn zn boron dissolved oxygen etc... then add only the chemical that is deficient. In my research I found about 15 or more chemicals that you could use for a big hydro farm, but if you want to make your own mix for an indoor operation where you dump your ferts every while, then you could go with the ones that I use.
Hope this helps,
cheers.

^ Should be every bloom boost you'll ever need.

I have not figured out the suggested dosage yet but when I do I will post it here. I am waiting for the nutrient salts to come in the mail.
