I also have about 6 or 7 of these sour bx clones, my favorite grape one. The grape smell went away after I took her down and bottled her up and went straight sour, a darker roast version.

I have a couple of my #1 BS 2.2 clones running and I'm blown away by the difference from the mom. These cuts put out lots of branches loaded down with flowers and carry that distinctive uber indica look that would work great in a stadium or out on a hillside all summer. I have a few good pics of one but I have 2 others, slightly further along that are meaner.I love the dark green on these.

to get an idea of how fast the Mullum Pearl is running compared to the straight MMs5, here is a pic of the mullum at 45 days flower.
They had to be reduced to 11.5 hours of light to get them to flip.
Are you still on 12/12?

Hardly a theory, that more energy = more growth thing. More of a commonly accepted fact (with diminishing returns of course.)
Nevil didn't have anything to do with creating Early Pearl, it came from Rob Clark.
I think the peak of Nevil's early flowering work was achieved by making hybrids with the ruderalis line he picked up.
I have found no references to Early Pearl (unhybridized) behaving as an auto.
Always happy to be corrected when it comes to canna "history" though. You got a quote?

My theory was comparing Slips virtual tropical jungle with the T5s as far as the faster development .
Quote ... sorry I`m banned @ MNS . But I do remember NVL saying he was proud to have bred the early pearl to flower under 24 hour light . That`s not saying he created it . I understood it as,he worked enough generations of selection to arrive at the plant that would flower under constant light .

More than likely due to the Mullum being bred outdoors for so long that normal 12/12 won't flip her .... I've seen similar occurances with equatorial sativas needing to be dropped down to 11hrs for the first couple weeks then once flower began you could slightly increase the lights ON without ill effects.....I can guarantee that the EP allows the Mullum to flower under 12/12 rather than 11/13.....
Awesome shots slip .... they look the picture of health my friend ...... the bs2.2s you have are SICK .... mine looked nothing like yours ...... guess we just gotta get lucky and get a good pack . . . Too much variation in them and not enough good ones to make popping worth while.... at least w the PK x ALL you can find a killer plant in any 10seeds and probably a keeper ..... to hang w the clones you guys run ya might need to pop a few dozen but most people don't have access to these clones so I'm sure anything out of the PK seeds could be a keeper.

I'll second the Ruderalis as being a plant wrecker. The older guys here used to grow the Ruderalis hybrids from Nevil back in the 80's and they were done before I went back to school in mid September, hell they were cured!! The potency was awfull but the taste was great. The Swazis were better.
I took down my first SFV yesterday at day 69 because I had to have that space for veg. I'd been placing my small bosai moms into a cardboard box with a 20w flouro at night and covering it with a blanket. Then the moms were too big as they'd been spending the days under 1000 W. Here's some pics of the SFV. I kept the lamp a solid 2ft away from the tops although the biggest top(highest anyway) was 22" away. I can't help but love this plant, there was a whole load of buds in that 3x3 closet but I could have done better...and will.

This is the space with the SFV after I'd cut about half of the flowers out, well maybe 1/3! She branches out crazy like a sour d and even the lowest branches growing upside down had nice chunks.

That SFV is beautiful dude . .. love the gold/orange and green!! How's she smell?
EB..... never said M was @ equator .... seen is with EQUATORIAL STRAINS ..... the M has lots of equatorial influences and the amount of light variance from season to season at 30*N or S stays fairly close to 12/12 year round.... and that's probably why Raho needed to drop it to 11 for flower .... we can't recreate the Suns specrtums and I have a feeling that's something to help M flower OD +/- 12hrs while indo needing more dark.
Never grown M before so this is just what I've seen in other Sativas ...... would love to give her a go OD and see how big they get in person!

Early to mid Autumn is the wet season in the Mullum region . Later flowering plants finish flowering in the drier Winter months ...
