Best vaporizers on the market today?

I owned an Arizer Extreme Q, using it for about 6 months. It worked just fine in getting one high/stoned, and is the only vaporizer I've ever owned. I must say I'm not overly enthusiastic about the taste afforded. And, I still prefer the more sudden sensation I experience with smoking, of crossing the wall (I know - somewhat strain dependent); smoking seems more of a sharp demarcation and I missed that some with vaping.

Anyway the glass piece with the frosted glass bottom, which is inserted with a little twist into the place where the heat is produced inside the hole, broke what holds the frosted glass piece in place. I must have applied too much force when inserting it and twisting slightly. That was the end of it.

Just to be different next time, I may go for the Arizer Solo or other portable vaporizer, so I can easily experience it in different settings other than my living room.

I'm pretty sure you can buy the replacement parts for the Extreme, I had the pre-Q version and had to replace some bits after an accident. I don't really use it as it sounds like a hoover going off next to you :(. I am sure you can replace any bits you've broken though.

It is undoubtedly a different hit, but one I've soon become used to, but there was a time I didn't think it cut it. Its the same for spliffs with tobacco gives a very different hit to a pipe or bong. My chest has suffered a lot of abuse up to now, so I feel its time I made an effort to find better (for my health) ways of getting stoned. I can now gear my vaping to the stone I want a lot more than I could with spliffs, the only hit I cant get with the vape is the "spliff" hit, lol, but that's a good part down to carbon monoxide and other chemical reactions to combustion, not so good for the lungs long term ;)

sublimation isnt vaporization. fwiw

Think of an ice cube of water. If heat is applied, it changes phase from a solid to a liquid. More heat applied to the liquid causes another phase change from liquid to vapor.

If that same ice cube at a temperature of freezing, is subject to low atmospheric pressure, it will change phase directly from a solid to vapor. Sublimation.

If that still doesn't help think of the vapor coming off of solid dry ice at normal atmospheric pressure. Sublimation.

Does this device use heat or vacuum?

And yet the material looks exactly the same after, fwiw. Peace GS

Any vaporizer(that is high quality) will do this when you start at a high temperature that will boil off the actives quickly while still allowing the enzymes that breakdown chlorophyll to denature so the color wont change that much. It will change the longer the heat is applied, though.

I just got the Extreme Q and love the thing, I've been smoking nothing but my FMDS for a couple years. I have an old vapor bro but it doesn't compare with the Q. Now i get Qued...

I have a Pax Ploom. It works well enough. It is portable and stealthy, but it requires constant cleaning and attention to work properly; mine did not come with the oil lube packs, but they sent me some.

My first 2 vape purchases didn't cut it, an early BC vape and a MFLB. Both weren't going to replace combusting through water, ever.
Then I bought an SSV about 4 months ago and haven't looked back since! Loving the 7th floor products, have since bought myself an LSV and it's even tastier.
I always use a nice water pipe, and choose very warm water as it moisturises the vapour more effectively than cool/cold does and has the added benefit of minimizing re-condensation.
Next purchase is going to be a cloud evo or sublimator adapt-a-bong, might get the ufo kit as a halfway point before either of the others ;)

Volcano is an overpriced piece of shit, not good for much other than a paper weight. De-verdamper is the rolls Royce of vaporizers. Beats everything I've tried hands down for taste, hit quality, herb efficiency, the list goes on. Only trouble is currently they are only sold in Europe. You can import one however, just takes longer because of customs. The price is high upfront, but quickly recovered due to the extreme efficiency of the unit. I've been fairly impressed with the vapir no2 for a portable solution. Had mine for around a year and it's still working great. Only complaint I have is the small bowl has to be reloaded often if vaping with multiple people.

I'm getting way comfortable with my life saber vape.
Haven't used it with a water piece but wow minus having car portability this device really delivers.
My impressions of using it for less than a week.

Pros

-heats up fast around 3 mins
-looks awesome
-uses little herb but has an adquent space for it
-doesn't easily combust (for me at least)
-delivers major vapor clouds that are highly visible
-is easy enough for vaporizer noobs to partake and get vaked
-supplies the user with superb vapor quality
-also the taste from this device is (IME) is unmatched

Neutral

-gets rather warm after extended use (30 mins+)
-seems to need to be cleaned weekly
-doesn't include a stand
-cant easily use with pure concentrates like bubble hash
(Unless Unbleached organic cotton balls count)

Cons

-no battery pack option
-needs to be stirred every 2 hits
-can roll around once set down
-only comes with one glass wand

Got to love the GonG hey Static! Would probably replace my SSV as daily driver if it could be left on permanently, got mine about 2 months ago (First TWO were faulty but thankfully I'm friends with my vaporizer supplier).
You really need to get a WPA and use that thing with some nice glass as it was intended to be used! I just layer some fullmelt on top of a little herb and it works like a charm ;)

Glass on glass is so tasty.
With my tolerance and schedule I don't have time to sit in the house all day vaping. Wishing I did tho.

Can't wait to get a water piece with this bad boy.
Still wish they made a concentrate attachment.
Full melt gets my screens all good and gooey but that's quite the problem to have. ;-)

I'm definitely getting a cloud evo when their situation stabilizes a little more, backlog is dealt with and the companies teething problems are resolved, been watching videos and it really seems to deliver the goods!

i use Q4 for several months and still pretty excited about it. usually pack the weed in an elbow strainer, it gives me thicker hits. one thing i can complain is size of a bag. I replaced it on oven bags. i used volcano once or twice. it is a very good vaporizer but totally overpriced.
