334,000W running on Aptus nutrients

Depends. If I'm just running base not much drift at all. I usually start out at 5.5 and let it go up to 6.0-6.2 before knocking it back down. Usually just once over a week and by the time it's back up it's time for a new batch. I usuall add tea halway through the week at 2 cups per 10 gallons. It drift up faster with the tea.

Now if I use the whole H16 line(roots, final and prime) it drifts more. Mainly because of the Prime i think. Also the lower my res gets the more it drift up, I have a lot of air in the res. Water gets warmr faster when it lower which also raises ph.

I just ran out of Aptus so I'm on the whole H16 line this week. I'm sad to say I dont think the girls are as happy. I've been having to use a higher base ppm w/o Aptus also. Don't get me wrong they're doing great just not quite the same. Hope that helps.

pH may drift more when organic inputs are implemented. Mineral only formulations such as H16 base nutes, should hold a steady pH in a reservoir unless there is a root disease or build up in the rhizosphere.

I also recommend to implement drain-to-waste techniques as much as possible to ensure consistent nutrient irrigation.

Hey all... switched over to Aptus additives and am loving the results so far! Question about the chlorinated water though... I have very good tap water where I'm at, ec generally around .2-.4. The water report has chlorine listed at [4] ppm with the 4 in brackets... none of the other elements/chemicals are in brackets. Wondering what the brackets mean and if I should dechlorinate or if I can get away with continuing to use straight tap. Like I said I'm loving the results so far but always looking to get better... thanks!

It's DTW in 60/40 hydroton/coco. I'm very happy with how much drift I get in the res, not a problem at all.

Dutch,

If I wanted to add FaSilitor to my nutrient schedule, would you recommend running it at the same dosages as their calculator suggests? Botanicare Pure Blend Pro makes up the vast majority of my regiment right now.

Thanks

It works great with PBP. Use it at the calculator dose but stop at week 5. IMO you don't need it the last half of flower and it's expensive. I ran the whole line in soil with PBP and had great results, better than i did with coco and canna nutes.

Thanks Green. Was the BT PBP the only Botanicare product you used? Currently my regiment includes BPB, CAMG, Silica Blast, Aquashield, and Sweet. If adding FaSilitor, would any of that need to be adjusted?

I've been following this thread now for a little while checking out everyone's input.

I've heard about this New Millenium line generating a steadily growing amount of buzz in the industry from experienced growers putting it to the test.

We've talked to some of the guys' who sell the line down in Denver, and it seems to have a healthy amount of hype generated around it. We hear that the guy who developed it had a helping hand in 3-Part GH, Botanicare, and has even been approached by Canna......from what we hear.

Looks like Green In the Thumb is killing with it.

I just picked up a sample box at the max yield show and spoke to one of the reps who said he would send me some larger samples to test it as a base with Aptus.

I can't start till I get the larger samples but I will post my results once I get going.

Sorry guys I have been out the picture a while I took a hard hit but I'm getting back where I need to be

Cheers

Very interested to see the results as I've just ordered 12 of my own to test out. Thanks for all the info, very informative.

Either my block busters and wings suck or the papillons are absolutely awesome

There is no comparison at all what have I been doing all these years

awesome, can't wait to try a room out with em.

are they awesome because they make a 4x4 canopy PERFORM BETTER or because they enable you to run a 5x5 (or 6x6) canopy while maintaining quality?

some specifics as to why you think they're so great would be wonderful.

thanks DT.

Hey bro

We cant get Bio canna in CA for some reason so I never got chance to run it.

I always PH using Aptus. I got some tests running as we speak trying different bases.

So far botanicare pure blend pro is killing it but its not over yet

12 years and counting with fantastic results here.

Cheers.
