Co2 Extraction a reality!!!

you don't live in Colorado, or have an idea what dispensary's pay to have hash oil made. $25 a gram is quite the markup.

and I know the people who make these oils and what they do. I am not going to continue to argue with people who don't want to believe that there are co2 units in Colorado where its legal to sell solvent extracts like bho and market them as such. No one is marketing shitty oil as co2. And Delta9 which I believe they are talking about above has def dialed in their process and is making a product that is 20x better then it once was. Organalabs still producing that ketchup.

Why can't a person substitute CO2 for butane using the same small home use vent to air system. Seems like it would work like butane does...but I have no experience so I could be wrong..

so how is this organalabs stuff? I am thinking about trying it. Better than PureGold in overall effect and taste? Not as potent as bho I assume but I want something I can load in an omicron and just hit

Im 38 and in the last few weeks have heard 3 people from Cali that have been to colorado and said that we have surpassed Cali in alot of ways by being fully legal. One owns a dispensary in san jose. It has been legalized first here, yea I give props to Cali in its efforts in the past its been amazing but the truth is and mainly here and around the world is people want to smoke INdoor not Outdoor, yea it will still be sold and smoked. But Colorado has taken the game to another level . I have been growing for 22 years and I know whats real . MILEHIGH CITY, DABCITY so yeah CO2 is $25-$45 a gram here in boulder and its Amber see thru come visit sometime and see all these girls in those hot yoga pants thank you your welcome

Ever heard of KISS? Keep it simple stupid. When that's observed its not about size, its about ease of loading and cost to operate. What's the stats?

People are still questioning the validity of CO2 Extracts? I've posted multiple pictures of the equipment and the end product. I also have videos of emptying oil from the co2 extractor. What else do people want to be "convinced"?

Looks awesome man! This is a pretty old thread, I don't think people are questioning that CO2 extraction can be done anymore...

That set up looks super legit, how much plant matter can you run at once with it, and how long does it take?

Also that pic with the buchner funnel -- is that two different samples?

Finally, may I ask why it looks like you are performing distillation? I can't tell whats in the boiling flask -- are you boiling off solvent or distilling thc?

We have both a 20L and a 5L extractor... the 20L holds 6-8 lbs, and the 5L holds around 2.

EDIT: The buchner picture is the same sample, before and after it has run through the filter all the way.

We winterize our oil by homogenizing it in ethanol, and then freezing it. We then filter it through the buchner funnel and distill off the alcohol that is remaining.

Isn't it difficult to remove all the winterized oil after you've distilled the alcohol? I don't have any experience with CO2 oil, is brittle post-winterization?

Fucking apeks machines suck, its a stupid design and is going to get someone hurt.

You can change a few things and add a liquid tank then it will work as well as a hiflo.

You need at least a 15hp air compressor to run the gas booster on the apeks. All that power wasted compressing air to compress co2 gas when the same performance can be had with 5hp electric co2 pump.

Btw, all of my shots are from a apeks machine.

You can get quality from the machine but it will never perform as well as a liquid pumping design.
