what is reflected here is that with the 2 light arrangement i was taking a plant that wants to grow round and making it grow flat and spread out by tying all branches up to only 2 wires about 8" apart.

the problem with this is that it is a shitpile of work. the more time you put in the higher the yield.

I agree with this here. I grow flat and it does take some work. I do it because of the small area I have to work with. If I had the room I would be doing tress like D9's grow. I am sure it is a lot easier to do than the screens.

Glad you are feeling and getting around better. Just wait till you are as old as Mister D. Then not only will you feel like crap you will look like it too. JK :moon:

D9- I've poured through tons of your posts, etc, and cant find any information about how you flush the plants that are getting pulled when they are all connected to the same system. You're running perpetual so 1 plant per week gets harvested yea?

Do you run it on its own system w/ just water the last week or no flush?

Awesome thanks for that. so you're only lighting the front of your plants in this room?

yes, up to now i've run the lights straight down the center of the room. if you look at the plant pics you can see that i now have them set up to switch hi/low twice per period and on 64" centers.

so that's 3 hours upper, 3 hours lower, then repeat for 12 total.

and i'm now reducing plant count to five in this room with the plants and lights staggered similar to your drawing. i will still flip them high and low.

this should let me grow some really huge plants without a lot of tying. each plant will be getting hit from 3 sides.

when running perpetual i don't flush but i feed at 600 ppm too. i have done a lot of comparisons and no one can taste the difference using jack's hydro special.

very smooth and clean burning.

Thats what I bought because you're all up on their balllllllz and it seems to be working great for you!!

Gonna run 8000 watt x 2 flip flop w/ 10 plants per room in 5 gallon buckets of 80/20 perlite:coco. Auto fed 6-8 times per day DTW, w/ Jacks and Calcnit @600-750 ppm. Trying to see if i can get some similar growth rates to you in your ppk. If not, I'm making the switch after this run. :tiphat: to you brotha

You may do quite well, and think there is nothing to gain from switching to ppk, which would be incorrect. With that big of a show, you probably have everything you need lying around, minus tailpiece, to set up a single ppk run right along with all the others. Do it. You won't be sorry.

The only thing stopping me is clogging tailpieces. Im not the biggest fan of cleaning up water.

You can put an ebb & flow overflow fitting between the tailpieces with the screen just above the turface level. Just in case the tailpiece clogs the it would return to the bucket.

So lets compare if you will.

A-Man-Dressed-As-Wonder-Woman.jpg

Your hair OMG just trying to much there. Just looks so fake.

Now look at your fat legs. Now look at how toned mine are compaired to your flabby legs.

And that white pasty skin tone, come on please.

and those shoes. Yes I saved the worste for last. Your shoes are just all wrong chick.

Lets bring this back to a civil tone now. I do like the glasses thought.
Really you need to rethink that you look better than me.

Your hair looks like you stole it off a drunk bum at 3 in the mourning, and those gag ball ear rings of yours :moon:. I mean come on, where'd you get those, S&M discount warehouse?

Now look at your fat legs. Now look at how toned mine are compaired to your flabby legs.

Just admit it, you're jealous of my thunder thighs

And that white pasty skin tone, come on please.

I had just gotten all nine seasons of Roseanne on DVD, hadn't left the house in 2 weeks. Not even for moon pies and Cheetos.

and those shoes. Yes I saved the worste for last. Your shoes are just all wrong chick.

Got me on the shoes, but at least my outfit doesn't look like a home sew job that was later tossed, and recovered by you out of a smelly dumpster behind the salvation army.

Lets bring this back to a civil tone now. I do like the glasses thought.

In short, yes, I think I'm way hotter in a wonder woman costume :dancer:.

Any of the peanut gallery care to weigh in on this?

Ok I will take back the pasty comment if I can come over and watch the Roseanne videos with you. In full costume of course. I will dress as Xena Warrior Princess so we don't fight though.

Man I got some good smoke I can bring cause I know the crap you grow won't cut it. It is from Bobble.
