Thanks everyone for the love. Its fucking busy around here. Between chopping down the light dep greenhouse, and feeding the full season ladies I have my work cut out for me right now. Im brewing up teas 300 gallons at a time. Burning through my 1000 gallon fresh water tank once a week. The plants are throwing down. As I assumed, the Magoo and my Boost are winning the race. My OG dom plants Pie, Cookies, SFV and Alien have all stopped stretching and started flowering. August is moving along quickly and harvest will be here before we know it. Going to be a short summer in these parts it seems. The cool nights have started and the days are growing cloudy. Doesn't really usually happen like this until September.

Yard shots. Took these early morning on August 1st while the smoke was still hanging around. A few things to remember, I grow almost exclusively 100 indicas because of the amount of available light on my property. 8-9 hours a day with a bit of shade around noon. Ive grown 12 foot tall sativas that in the end yielded me less than my best blueberry that year. Have fun and lets take a walk around my garden.

DUDE! We were definitely thinking the same thing. I put mine close together in case I had to put a greenhouse over them in the event of a short summer. Cant push things past Halloween here or the cold penetrates and start to casue problems with Mold. However, my cut of cherry pie has pinky sized buds on it already, and the GSC are just now throwing hairs. We should compare numbers at the end of the season on these two.

Looking good Samson! Where did you have your stuff tested at? Also what was the cost of the testing?

PM me for the number of the testing place. I don't do free advertising :) pretty cheap, $50 per strain but they also claim they have a 1.5% lead way in either direction, so it's not totally accurate. When I have compared them to tests I've had done in Portland, they are always a few percent lower. My first run of GSc they tested said 20.5% Portland labs said 23% and were double the price

lookin good in here i wanna see those willies! anyways CP is an awesome outdoor plant, i took her last year until mid october. she is very mold resistant, even the popcorn i left on the plant past halloween didnt even mold.

we also run a chem sour down here, its REZ chem4xSD...lots of good vigour and yield in that one. shes an indoor champ getting her first shot at open sun this year.

Our chem sour was from the last release rez did before departing. I did two last year and they all eclipsed the 3 mark. But I had to tent them into November to make it happen. Do you remember when you took your gsc last year? I have a forum and a platinum out there.

Looks great Samson! Can you do a top 3 strains for mold resistance here in the PNW? I'm north of ya in BC & I want to try something different...I ran some Blueberry last year & it had quite a lot of mold. This year is much better with Tom Hill soil recipe/guidelines running C-weed...so far it's been great!

Thx,
G

Hard to say, but I go with early flowering strains to help prevent the mold. If you twisted my arm

1. Williams Wonder
2- Blue Magoo (Willys bx2 x BlueBerry)
3- Grape God (Feminised from next generation)

Those are my best yeilders and fast finishers, they are done before the mold even thinks about starting. I have also had great success with sweet purple from Paradise seeds, but potency varies greatly seed to seed, one may be top shelf and the next hardly has any crystals at all. I usually cull the taller seedling and keep the shorter ones, they color up nice and have good resin production.

Beauty Samson! Many thanks...I've done a bunch of outdoor in the states but now I have a chance to do some big stuff with almost zero security issues...gotta love rural living :)
Look forward to your finish!

Namaste'
