3x3 LED SoG, a perpetual thread.

lookin' lovely, can't wait to see what she yielded for ya. i know from experience that LA can yield some rock hard buds, a small plant can really surprise ya!

Yield sucked. 5 grams each. Wonderful bud though...

The next few will be a better indicator. These had little-to-no veg time, and were not well rooted when I flipped them. Still dissapointed though, especially after trimming them. They shrank a lot.

sucks on the yield, but all things considered it isn't too terrible. what i told you about vegging them in dixies and then the finishing containers
will really make a big difference with the LA, it takes a while to get established in a container before it starts to grow with any quickness.

finally got my leds paid for tonight, all i have to say is fuck western union.

Probably double what #1 and #2 gave me respectively. Root ball was a lot better, but still not occupying the entire 1 gallon pot... It's going to be all about the long veg times ones, their buds are already larger.

Nice and easy doubling of space with the shelf in your veg tent!

Right? I already had the extra lighting. I will be switching the PLL (doubled up t5's) out for either LED strips or LED screw ins.

The plants in the veg space right now only get 150-300 par. I would like to see the node spacing decrease a bit so I can get a little more veg time in before the flip. This LA cut especially needs the extra veg.

I would like to double up the flowering space the same way, trying to test my limits. :D

Enjoyed reading this thread, nice work rocking that tent!

Thanks! Hopefully some of these next few plants put up decent numbers.

There are 3, about to be 5, plants in the flowering tent which are using the new soil mix. I have not pH'd the water, nor given them any type of food or supplements. Straight up tap water. Hoping to develop a soil that can go the distance with water only and then be recycled/re-mineralized.

im glad that you are liking my soil mix, and im kind of surprised that it worked as well as it did when you didn't even compost it. i was just taught on such a strict "compost it beforehand" mentality that i hadn't even considered it would work that well. i guess that is the advantage of a mostly vegan mixture, because uncomposted (or improperly composted) guanos were a nightmare IME.

Yea, as long as I keep it moist there are no issues!

The plants I just transplanted into it, are doing just was well as the first ones. I would say you do not need to compost it prior to using in veg. :D

lookin' real nice, both the soil and the soilless plants look awesome.

i got my 2 nova s8s in on monday. roomie got one of them hung over the trainwreck cuttings, when i get back on saturday i will update.

Another BioCanna plant, looking nice. I think less branching for the veg time would have increased the bud size even more. Still working on that balancing act with these small pots and self imposed height restrictions.

Those two above are the last soil-less plants...the rest are using the new organic soil.
