Got a buddy goin in to renew tommorow, Hes got 49 plant license, but wants 140. He told the clinic he started juicing but the clinic says health canada doesnt recognize juicing as medicine? What should he tell the dr to get the 140 plants instead of the 49 he already has.?

Hey Mojoman, you want a tissue you little baby. He is a real patient, but needs more meds. Wouldnt you want to grow as much medication as you can before the laws change, or would you rather pay 5 - 12 bucks a gram? Duh

Just think it is so sad, since the new regs came out it seems so prominent. Folks trying to blame others for its failure. Its over, why nitpick. The thing was designed to fail. Only the government to blame. Had a friend speak with as judge the other day. The judge stated, that there will be more litigation with the yet to be implemented program, than there was with the old one. Another predesigned failure. So need to point fingers over the next program either. ,
Ya, people took advantage of the old program. Doctors, lawyers, trades folks, growers, licensee's. Heck even municipalities all made there little piece there. But as I stated, the government didn't think that would happen, too funny. Glad you allowed me to lay my thoughts out more clearly so they aren't as easily misinterpreted. Peace GS

actually, imvho. the gov't needed numbers to support a revenue model.
30,000 licenses = enuff to support cpl - 5-10 years
300,000-1,000,000 = enuff to support full legalized licensees for recreation 5-10 years more
passed 1,000,000 = full blown acceptance, taxation and regulation - end game

duh???...if he is indoors I could see it....if he is outdoors he could never consume that much per year....unless he is selling some...thats where honest growers get the shaft...so...lil' pussy...do you see where I'm comin' from....or is your wallet more important than folks' gettin' meds cheap...as for next year...don't give a fuck...I need my meds and will grow them myself, simply because my condition renders me unemployable and I refuse to ask the govt' for any help...could cause me trouble...but fuck it...life goes as you choose!!!!

Most people would want to grow as much meds as they can so they have reserve after the program changes up. makes some sense to an extent thoough it doesn't take the gov's/mmpr's choking point into account and acknowledge the fact that a reserve is just as illegal after april fools.
Anything you can't prove you baught from a LP will be illegal after april fools.
Especially since without the LP paperwork they give you at the time of purchase you don't actually have any proof of being a legal patient at all since it is the proof under the new reg's.
In other words you'll buy the product or you won't be legal according to thier program.
Anything as easily proven to not be baught from an LP by simply asking for the paper work showing the record of it's purchase will also be considered contraband according to the rules.
dunno nobody's talking about that part of it.
I can see some going out of thier way though to stock up, n it makes enough sense to a point, but isn't that much more legal than just keeping a grow going n at least using the charges for legal aid covewrage, n to fight a usefull fight for growing ones own, rather than a stockpiling charge that wouldn't win anyone anything in the end.
I personally would just take my chances n prep to kill a charge in court myself.
As fucked as the new regs are there's not realy a snowballs chance in hell of anything they throw at you actually sticking.
Meh, some will stop growing n others won't can't realy say either is any better an idea than the other just what different ppl would do is all really.

so sorry for you confusion...those plants are in "my" yard...I was just tryin' my luck at adding a pic to a thread...when I was young we had black&white tv, no seatbelts and computers were owned by govt' and big business only....as for any risk....my license allows me 34 outdoor in summer and 128 indoor in winter...but thanks for thinkin' of my parents.
