7 day old seedlings, do they look ok for this stage?

Give em some dark time man they will really blow the fuck up. Give em 8-10 hours a day dark from here till you bloom. You would probably see major results in a few days at this point.

Ya go for the tranplantman, after all this time they should have a nice root ball built up.

Something I learned is that seedlings will use up there stored energy very soon and need food alot sooner then most would think.

I just swapped it to 18/6. The main problem is I have to turn the exhaust fan off. Otherwise the tent begins sucking itself inwards. Since all air holes are force shut.

How do I fix this problem, or is it ok to turn off the exhaust fan at night?

I used to have the sucking inward tent problem. I fixed it by partially blocking the exhaust fan intake. In my set up it worked for me but fitting a dimmer switch to your exhaust fan might be a better way to go.

I turn my exhaust fan and oscillating fan off with the lights. Still have air coming in which leads to the reverse problem. The tent bowing outwards. However the plants don't seem to be complaining so it ends up being a case of 'whatever works.'

Just my 2 cents, I feel you are treating your coco like dirt and not feeding enough.
Party foul.
Water those cups once a day at the same time each day with full strength 6/9 and watch them blow up. Make sure you have a tiny bit of runoff and water them in slowly for maximum absorption. Soon you will have to water them 2-3 times a day if your doing things right and your growth will be outa this world. Coco is a hydro medium, treat it as such.

Can I keep that solution? If so, how long?
Yes you can and GH nutes will keep for a long time in fact. I suggest stirring it once a day and you can use it till its gone, then make more.
Are you pH'ing your mix?

Ok then test your solution each day, it will rise slightly so do not be alarmed. Take notes on the pH rise and how many days it takes to rise out of range. Then try to use all of your solution in that time so there is minimal waste. I am thinking it will take you a week or so before you will want to make a new batch.

One last question.

The least amount of nutrient solution I can normally mix up is 1/2 gallon. I do not have measuring tools that allow me to go less than that while doing 1/2 strength nutes.

Since I am mixing so much, I am wasting a TON of nutrient solution. I would say 85 percent of it is waste, even after I water the solo cups until runoff.

Can I keep that solution? If so, how long? If I can keep it 24 hours it will allow me to water many times a day.

I use a syringe to measure out 1-3ml of nutes at a time
At this point when my plants are in cups I usually have a smart pot full of left over coco that I rinse with any leftover nute solution so that when Im ready to transplant into pots I have clean and buffered coco ready.

I use water to germinate, feed about 0.5 ec when they've sprouted tiny leaves, and then they get 1.0EC every feed after that. I use formulex, but any balanced starter/baby feed will do. Canna do an equivalent of formulex now and so do vitalink I think.

I get them within 2 inches of a fluorescent light from day one.

To give you an idea on what you can expect when they're at full tilt, this is my little timeline I did a while ago.

This is in seed cup stage - don't know what day from germination but you measure it's growth after this point.

She is on 1.0EC of formulex at this point.

I know people say whether or not to feed at this stage is strain dependent, but every strain I have ever grown is on the same at this point and every strain has been equally happy.

This is 8 days later, now in a 1L pot. Still under fluoro lighting.

She is still on between 1.0 - 1.2 EC of formulex.

At that point she got moved to an 11L pot and put under a 600.

I also top her at this point while she is small so she can concentrate her energy on strong branching.

This is what she looks like up close after topping. Take note of the tiny shoots.

This is her 12 days later.

At this stage of growth she still needs no more than 1.0 - 1.2 EC of formulex.

Those tiny shoots are now the main branches and look how big and thick they've become in just 12 days.

I know you said early in the thread that people sometimes lie about the growth stage of their plant, and it's often true. But also cannabis is also a very vigorous weed and given the right conditions will explode with growth.

They shouldn't need watering for a while now.

When you say full strength, what ec is that and what's the npk of the feed?
