Good day all, new grower here with in the past few months (Still waiting on first crop). I got sick and tired of all the meds my doc kept giving me. I was a test subject and she constantly switching meds to try and settle my constant pain and back flare ups. SO I decided to go all natural. Reading the whole thread makes me think I picked a terrible time to start growing! Is there even a point in trying to get a grow permit? I'm actually kind of pussie to ask the doc just cause she has been so good with everything dealing with lawyers, courts etc after my accident. Don't wanna push my limits!
I stayed away from mmar where I live no one trust the goverment.I live in one of the poorest parts of ontario very remote. One thing I learned at young age is if no one knows no one knows. Dont tell family dont tell friends. And do not let pride take you down by showing your grow to a relative. Keep it completely to yourself and self medicate. I have been doing it for 36 years my friend never once have I been busted Knock on my computer screen lol

A friend who doesnt know I grow just offered me some pretty good weed (id say b or b+ grade) for $200 an o, which is a good price in my area for someone unconnected like myself.
I never thought id see such a general increase in quality around here, it nothing amazing but it seems everything a notch above what it was last ti.e I looked. (Maybe a year or a year and a half ago)

Zips seem to hover around $240 a zip in the prairies here...

Units going for $2400-2800 depending on quality...

Quality is shit, with most people trying to pass off B grade as primo...

People constantly dropping the word "kush" just to get an extra $80 a zip, but ask them for the cheaper stuff and you get the same weed, in the same bag, for $80 cheaper...

Its ironic because once some real good stuff becomes available, no one wants to pay what its worth, but god bless the oil patch, no one will think twice about dropping a thousand bucks on "columbian" imports on a tuesday night...

I really do hope you are right...But i am bit of a cynic...i have been waiting for the sativa revolution for more than 10 years...when i was in Amsterdam in the late 90's...i was smoking hazes and Amsterdam was completely HAZED OUT..and would have bet money that that would have been the new fad, but it never caught on....I believe marijuana growers...or most are too impatient and to interested in making money then growing sativa's...If you want sativas you gotta grow your own...

IMHO sativa's will never be the craze...it will be around but not like KUSH...

I am a sativa believa. Always lotsa nice ones around me. No one want to do it for me, but that's all good. Kushes will be a done deal in not too much longer. They taste good, but I never puff them when I want to get high and stay high. Most I puff cuz they taste good, but 20 minutes later I want to get high.

Most folks never really encounter sativas, just hybrids leaning that way. Yet want to have an opinion. Cracks me up. No one has ever walked away from me after puffin Seedman's Haze and said damn I am just not high. Makes me wonder what folks are smoking. Peace GS

I got Burmese in a room... Nice uplifting high...

People should pop more seeds cause I have found some amazing sativas...

I guess I should start momming haha

IMO the market will always be there for tight frosty kush nuggets. Most people look for the bag appeal and smell, hence the more airy sativa-type bud is at a "disadvantage", even though it may be more potent and have an excellent smell/flavor profile.

some people are...the ones who care what they smoke....I have found smokers are of 2 categories...first the ones who really love pot and research it, and want to try every kind of strain they can get their hands own( like myself)....then the second..

people who just don't care as long as it gets them high and it's known as top of the line...brand names...such as OG, Bubba, Tahoe or Sour and so on...these people wouldn't know the difference between a Kush and Haze and don't care....this unfortunately is the majority...therefore its the market, ergo...Kush

I just wish I had called my sativa "tumble-kush" instead....amazing how a name can make a huge diff...

I think the problem is we are getting old....

Line 20 of your typical younger casual-stoners against a wall....give em a sativa joint and tell them it's KUSH and 18 of them would be raving about the "KUSH"....

Sad but true.
