Losing wicks for me has not really seemed to have hurt any of my plants as long as I continued the pulse.
Given this observation, I wonder why I couldn't just rip this root filled tail piece out and replace with another..

Not that this pot is having a issue so I won't touch it. Yet I've read of tail pieces being drilled out to open a path for water and just got me thinking ahead. ..

2 of the ladies in pool 1 lost wicks and I can't see a difference between any of them.

I'm amazed by the 1 lady placed as she got beat down hard. ..
Took off growing by day 2. Looks Amazing ...

Can't want to look at her roots once done. .

Is that strange. ..

Wicks were never essential. Without them you still have a very viable top fed hydro system. Wicks just add 2 extra features (remove PWT and backup feed if pump breaks)

you have some serious results there, i would say thats a shitload of hash and a nice wall of jars too.

So if the wick stops draining ..
I'd say pull the whole thang and replace with a new one. .

Unless someone can school us otherwise ...lol

I can't get my head around how well wave 1 has gone. ..
So much dank smoke for one person. ..

Then....

There's wave 2... Still...

Chit.. Monsters in the pools. .. Every plant is going HUGE on me.
Going to be some serious weight issues ... lol

If I were smart I would chop all ladies in half and give a week to recover. ..

Not thinking I'm that smart tho....:dance:

Just lots a long write. . Damn phone. .

OK. .. take 2....

These pools are really taking off and the system couldn't be running smoother. .

They pools seem to drink about 2-4 gallons a day with a stable 5" PWT.
ppm's float at 650-750
PH 6.1-ISH

(For some reason my camera adds a yellow that isn't there. Lol)

GSC & Kong want to take over pool 1 Big time...

Kong buried BATF in the coroner and I had to open the space.

Kong didn't stretch much but GSC was nuts in a 1-G pot. .

These 2 GSC - scare me... I may be biting off more than I can chew with just a 600 & 430 bulbs..

Not that I'm not up for a challenge .. Oh it's-On. . Like donkey KONG. . (Couldn't resist)

Thinking.... Clean lowers. . Semi hard plucking inorder to stall a little.
Open things up and make each plant set into the spaces I want ..

I have a few training tricks up my sleeve as well..

This wave is going to be so interesting for me. ..

I see so much potential with this set up. .

I really can't wait to run single strains...

6 GSC per pool would kill it...

4 plants if ya went trees

Are there any bean makers out there that can give me a clue as to how I should go about this grow.

Ie. .

Cut down size of plants. . Like a 3rd off tops. ... ..
-Thin out .IDk. .

Let em go wild. ..

What's the training- tech for beans ..

I lean towards heavy defoliate and flip...


Pool 1 is for regular bean and pool 2 is for Female beans. ..

Might need to post over in breeder land. .
