26 Day Veg
56 Day Flower
82 Days Total from seed to harvest.

IMG-20130223-00254_zps69904cbc.jpg

Wet weight 30 grams.
Dry weight 10 grams.
4 definate seeds from the pollination I did but I have not broken the bud up yet to find how many for total.

I haven't smoked any yet. Smells like Fruit Loop cereal, rancid oranges, and flowers. I figure I could have gotten up to 3/4s of an oz if I had not taken clones that didn't survive. Also the pH/nutrient issues, that I am trying to rectefying, greatly reduced the overall yield. The buds are not large enough IMO. I am waiting to see how density turns out.

Also I am revegging. I left probably a gram or so of little buds on the plant and also managed to be able to leave quite a few leaves. Hopefully I can reveg this girl and maybe move her outside. Would like to see how she does their.

18-Feb Harvest DAY 56 Watered pH 7.0 very lightly. In the morning. Cut in the evening. 30 grams wet. Stuck back in 24/0 for reveg. Watered lightly after harvest pH 7.0.

20-Feb 1 ml Rapid Start 5 ml Grow 4 ml Micro Watered and fed pH 7.0.
21-Feb None None. Jarred bud at 10 grams.

Meanwhile I am trying to revert the 3 Mexibricks I have left. They seem to be thirsty and definately want to spread their feet more. They have kinda maxed out their cups root wise I think and are wanting some potassium but I don't see the need in it. I plan on revegging them, seeing who is the best looking and then giving that one a large pot for itself to veg for a few weeks by itself and fill out. Probably will just put the other 2 outside...

I'm noticing some similar leaf conditions between the various strains you are running.

I have a couple questions for you.

What is your soil mix?

Are you using a different soil mix for seedlings vs plants in larger pots?

Your soil looks decent in the pics of plants in styrofoam cups, but the soil in those larger pots in the last pic above this post looks like mud?

What did you do to the plants 1,2,3 between your post on 2-16 and your post on 2-23 of the same plants? They went from looking great to hurting.

Here's my opinion so take it for what it's worth lol.

I think you are feeding your plants too quickly and causing nute issues/lockout. IE, you are chasing yer tail trying to fix problems you are creating.

If you have a basic soil mix of something like promix/earthwormcastings/perlite, the ewc should give enough nutes to the plant for the first month or so of life.

If it were me I'd drop the superthrive completely. It might (lol) 'help' the plants but it sure doesn't fix pH/nute/soil problems.

Maybe try making up a soil mix with some dry nutes in the soil and only watering through a whole round?

I agree. They are basically suffocating from a lack of oxygen it looks to me. The roots need more air, by adding that compost, or whatever, to the top or the entire soil, it has restricted air flow to the roots which is why the leafs are wilting..

Thats my guess. Good luck.

compost needs to be cut with old soil big time, its compost its hot as fuck, how bout just using some dirt. ive literaly went outside and dug out dirt from the shrubs and had decent results, ya dont need to be rich ya have to keep it simple . dirt , water, light , thats it.
so how does the smoke taste ? i can say from experience if ya just keep it simple the weed tastes better and isnt harsh .

Cut with perlite or something to get that aeration up, that will really help out most of the problems and slow down your itchy trigger finger, lol!

Most seem to be in great shape, they just aren't getting O2, like Bobbles suggested, easy fix!

T

trem0lo

first I'd like to say congratulations on your first harvest. it's exciting to have your own free bud to smoke. also i find that the quality under LEDs is great even if they look a bit scraggly. once you dial in your methods and run healthy girls all the way through the buds will look much better and smoke better too :joint:

the difference in bag appeal between my two plants (one healthy, one deficient/stressed) is night and day. the healthier one is also slightly more potent. but great job, we need a smoke report!

SMOKE REPORT

So been kinda testing small buds through the week days but last night I lit up a 1/2g or so joint. Buds are all good density. None of them are airy or fluffy. their not super dense but they are at a good place.

When I got stoned on the joint...
The taste is good. It isn't hashy or piney just floral. The high comes on nice and easy, relaxes the eye lids a little. Thoughts come easily and readily, not confused or racy. Slight paranoia can slip in but is easily put in check by thinking about something else for a moment. Does not induce munchies. High is very manageable but nice. Music is more intimate.

Bowls during the day... Pipe: Chillum 3" and 6".
Burns a little longer than expected. 3 or 4 good hard hits that you cough on will give you a buzz for 30 mins or so. Social and humored. Does not induce munchies.

I'm no expert but could the purpling on your stems be a sign of magnesium deficiency? I've heard that Mg Def. can cause huge drawbacks during the whole course of your grow but yours seems to have come along very nice man:bow:...I'm just curious about the purple stems, cos they are quite prominent in the C99. Could it be genetic?

Like the smoke report man, Social and humoured:) that's my kind of buzz. Ava Good'un.

Grass hopper Damage!
IMG-20130320-00288_zps98990336.jpg

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
@ Kiwigrowa
I am not sure about the mG or if it is just due to the daily 15 degree temp change during flower. The leaves turned purple also.
But that being said most all of my plants have purple petioles. I would like to switch to RO but I don't have any cal-mag currently. So I am just trying around seeing what sticks and what don't what I like and what I don't... One thing is for sure... I love purple bud! lol

@ All the regulars
Thanks for keeping up with my thread and continually giving advice and commentary through this process. Lately things are kinda slow around with me getting my feet wet with reveg-ing. Do you guys/gals/other still want weekly image updates during the slow reveg process?

Killed the clone. Started another set of bag seed for straight runs 12/12 no coming out. Just trying to make some quick buds. It seems like long engagements in these small boxes are difficult. Plants become root bound quickly.

So I am have burned by the 4th week of flower and things are looking good. Lots and lots of little buds everywhere. Got a little light bleaching again but not near as bad this time since I knew what to look for.

Should be able to sex my second run of bagseed I got going. I think I got 3 or 4 females and 1 male based on their stature but they are not mature enough to
be sure.

And BLUMATS ROCK! Im tellin you these girls drink some water for sure! If you pull out one of the cones you tear the roots because they are so in love with Blumat cones.

-------------------------------------------------

So with the bagseed revisited I have 2 confirmed females and 3 with no preflowers at all yet. When I transplanted them all to the bigger pot (a plastic cap nail box) I added a mixture for filler... something like

I poured a couple inches of worm castings in the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket
Added
2 handfuls of perlite
2 handfuls of compost
4 handfuls of used Vortex Potting soil
Light dusting with Rabbit Hill Farms Buds and Blooms Organic

Mixed all that up...

Added another inch of worm castings and 2 more handfuls of perlite

I haven't noticed any transplant shock. Their was some slight nute deficiency showed up on one plant that is the tallest and first to go into flower. But it was very minor and and only on one leaf. I am thinking that it was getting hungry in the dixie cup having not much to feed on. I used someones organic soil recipe for starting seeds.

6 Parts sunshine potting soil, 2 parts perlite 2 parts worm castings.

Their was a huge difference inbetween the root structure from a 50/50 wormcastings/perlite and this mix. The wormcastings out performed by far. Root structure on the sunshine mixture was even but not as intense with no roots bigger than a 1/32" compared to the 50/50 mix that had several roots over 1/16th" visible.

I am really looking to get some good dope to hold me over a while out of this run things have been getting scarce... I am hoping these aren't some 80-90 day plants and that in a few weeks I can harvest.
