New Addition, a Blue Nose Pitt

Here is another story about Buzz, but not witness to this one so you have to trust me. Actually I have not seen it yet, the girl that watched him while I was on vacation told me this.

She said Buzz stood up and tried to pee in the toilet. She said he made a mess, but tried to do it.

I know that when I pee in the toilet he comes too close, he watches me intently. I am always worried he was going to get caught up in the spray. Apparently he was studying me and learning how to do it.

Perhaps he is turning human. To me pit bulls are the most un-dog like dogs that I know of.

When it comes to colors and variations. That red or blue nose, brindle, , blues, reds, tans, chocolates, buff, blonde, black or white are all descriptions. There is not a breed of Pit's called Red Nose or Blue Nose just simpply that is the color of your dog's nose. And before people get defensive about that
If you are lucky enough to have a a Bully that came from one of these truly rare bloodlines - Then more power to you. So many people these days say I have a rare red nose or blue nose or whatever. Fact of the matter - There is NO rare anything left. They are a dime a dozen. Take a look at an shelter list. 100's and 1,000's of these dogs poor into shelters, rescues and onto the streets everyday.

Just like labs they come in 3 colors. Black, Yellow, Chocolate are colors not breeds of Labs. And then there are a few variations of the Yellows from light to dark and at the end of the day they are Labs. Ridgebacks come in red or brown and a few years back Black surfaced - That is rare.

If in trying to educate people, the general public and anyone else - All Bully owners should know their facts and information. If we are all here to protect the breeds and show are devotion to all of them. Know that all these dogs no matter what they look like - from nose color to fur color to the type of mouth, height, weight or anything else what you really have.

In the end they all started out in the same place in the 16th Century and over the many many years we have the dogs of now. The Original Bull Dog of old was used to generate many breeds that include APBT, Am. Staffordshires, Staffordshires, Bull Terrier, Min. Bull Terrier, Am. Bulldog, French Bulldog, Boston Terriers, Olde English Bulldogs, Bull Mastiff, Boxer,English Bulldog.

Well I hope I didn't project that I had a specific breed. What I have is a specific family line that happens to be Blue. I would like to note that when I moved to Seattle I had to rent a place to live and the owner took care of everything over email except showing me the place. When asked about my dogs I listed them as medium sized mix breeds. And if someone ever tried to impose something on me about my dog's breed I would submit that my dog is indeed a mix breed and I defy you to prove otherwise. There is really no test that law enforcement or anyone else could use to declare my dog an absolute pit bull. Any declaration of the breed would have to be opinion and that is how I would defend myself if it ever come to that.

And in keeping with what you are saying, they all come from the same original gene pool from the Chihuahua to the Irish Wolf Hound.

Something that I have noticed in my studies is that the Blue Nose (for whatever reason) seem to be a kinder dog, where the Red seems to be more aggressive. There are exceptions to everything, that is just what I have seen. So in that case the color is not the only thing, the behaviors are different.

I am in touch with a lot of my dogs relatives. Last Thanksgiving I took family pictures of people and dogs. The dogs were my big boys mother (solid blue) my big boys brother (blue and white) my big boys daughter (brindle) and my big boys son (this pup shown). I have access to many other family members as well.

As for future breeding projects this pup is going to supersede his father in continuation of the family line. I am going to try to duplicate his father's colouration. Last breeding project we used two dogs of blue and white coloration and the pups were very white. I want to use a full blue next time to get less white.

Yes but the APBT originally came from Britain . Brief bit of history , the original PBT was a British breed of a STAFF X ENGLISH BULL TERRIER , straight x with nothing added . Used in this country for bullbaiting & dog fighting then exported to the States when we wised up & laws came in against using any fighting dogs . The breed more or less dissapeared in this country coz there was no need for it & the States added their own mix in to develop the breed you have now .
I have had PBT & a Staffy/EBT & had one or two scary moments with nosy coppers asking what breeds they were , staffy x usually settled their q`s but it`s still a real pain over here with The Dangerous Dogs Act .

I have found some awesome dog parks where I live. Two so far, massive in size, and so many beautiful dogs. My dogs have so much fun it is like doggy Disneyland. I had fun too, as one is near a beach and the other a view of the city which is very close to my house. We will be spending more and more time there as the weather improves. Lots of mud and fleas, but what the hells.

Here is Buzz and a girl that he met at the park. His nuts haven't dropped yet as he is only 6 months old this week. For now with the ladies it is innocent fun.

Hard to believe this is the same dog.

Buzz is becoming a dog. At 6 months old he is over 90lbs, almost as heavy as Luna (my Brazilian girl friend). He is hyperactive, like a mass of muscle and nerves. A very needy boy that wants all my attention all the time. Yesterday he lifted his leg to pee for the first time. It should start to get really interesting now. I love this dog but he is a lot of work. I have a baby sitter watch and walk him when I am at work and I work with his when I am home. It isn't like he isn't getting a lot of training. Because of his body shape or bone structure it is obvious that he has a lot of filling in to do yet. This dog should weigh about 110 lbs when he is done growing. What have I done?

You are most certainly welcome, as with everyone else. This could be a literal pit bull thread.

And BTW, Awesome dogs. The little one would be a good F buddy for my pup. He cocked his leg to pee for the first time yesterday. I think we are in for a fun ride waiting to see how that evolves.

Anyone that knows anything bout breeding these dogs or the breed (doesnt call them a "Blue nose pit") That dogs pedigree :pOST 1 = backyard bred . Not knocking the dog or yourself. But some of us take this breed and breeding very serious. Blue eyes will fade to brown or green or amber color in time "Blue eyes are considered a fault even if just one" your dog has a lot of tic in his coat pattern . Anyways i love all pits dont take the post wrong

Champions of your back yard maybe. Funny how people act when they think they have something better than others. Huligun your dog looks great. My male is the great grandson of The Notorious Juan Gotti. My female is 100% razorsedge. All papers and pedigree to the Max. From the pics I'd say you got the runts. Might have pedigree but I'm sure yours are not champions of any shows. Period

NK, you think my dog is a runt at 90lbs at 6 months? I don't know what your expectations are, but to me he is a very big dog. His father is a very beautiful dog and only 70lbs fully grown.

I pretty much know about where all my dogs ancestors are, living and dead. Someone pretty famous has my pups uncle for instance. Someone that paid top dollar and then paid to transport the dog from Portland to Phoenix.

And it is true, my dogs are champions in my back yard for the most part, but they both walk with pride and a certain strut knowing they are the baddest motherfuckers that walk the earth. Not much anything an online poster or even a person in person could say to diminish the pride we have.

I will say this... when there is word out that we are making puppies we don't have to advertise. People come out of the woodwork wanting one of my older dogs pups.

Oh yeah one more thing, we don't cut or remove parts of our dogs to make them look tougher.

Sorry for the confusion, I miss read this. English is not my first language so I make mistakes. NK is a great guy and sent me a PM explaining.

It's all good lol. My dog is certainly no runt. I kind wish he was a 3/4 the size he is.

On a separate note, I met a fellow that had a Miniature Pit. It was an amazing dog. Very robust, only smaller.

I was talking about the asshole who came on your thread and was saying how your dogs were not pedigree material with your eye color bro. I think your dog is amazing.. I was actually trying to defend you .. read mtndews post and you'll see I was trying to put him in his place... I apologize if you thought I was talking to you.. your dog is definetly no runt!

Pit Bulls are very interesting dogs. You have to have one to know what it is all about. They are intense dogs, capable of destruction, civil and legal liabilities, dogs that could keep you from living in some cities or renting a place to live. However, for all of that you have a loyal companion that will take a bullet for you. It is a lot of work, but to me it is worth it.

Thanks for clearing that up man, my mistake. English is my second language. You are a great guy.

I love my dogs blue eyes too.

And as far as papers, I do have them, not that they mean anything to me, but I have them.
