GH KOOLBLOOM questions?!

Alllright, Well right now i use floranova and liquid koolbloom, There are some post that say when using koolbloom you need to use the liquid then switch to powder right at the end.

It stresses the plant supper hard and filles em with PK, Ok so basicly you stress the plant at the end with heavy pk. I am wonderding if could you just up the liquid KB and add molasses or somethig?

I am week 5 of flower on 9-10 week ladys, and am stressin if i should spend the 60 bucks and get a bag of powder shipped to me. I just wonder why people dont just do liquid x3 or something, they say the liquid can make hermi if used to early and to hard and isnt that basicly what the powder is doing, is just stressing the plants, its just to late to hermi?

It would be great if someone could fill me in here, It would be great to save some money, but i want to get the best out of my plants that i can....

I use the same nutes as you, and I really don't like the powder. I hardly even use the liquid koolbloom anymore either. Pretty much straight FNB from start to finish.

i use the powder KB so i cant comment on the liquid but check out the K.I.S.S. thread to see just Maxibloom and Koolbloom fed plants with dank results.

Dude K.i.s.s meth is rank, after this grow i am going stright maxibloom the hole grow, pretty pumped.

But for the end of this run, it just seems like alot of people sware by the powder at the end, question still out there " can you just double or triple the liquid koolbloom at the end of the cycle?"

I just used powder koolbloom for the first time, and I ended up with hermies for the first time on that strain. Coincidence? Maybe if I hadn't read dozens of other people saying the same thing.

I would just stick with 10ml per gallon of water if using the liquid
I use GH Flora Nova Bloom & the liquid Koolbloom and have great results

10 ml Per G?!??! haha really? the GH chart says no more then 5ml..
Have you actualy used 10ml a g???

Yes I do, Do you think it's to much?
There are 2 usage suggestions on the bottle/label
1. For hydroponics add 1-2 teaspoons (5-10ml) per gallon
2. For soil Add 1/2 -1 teaspoon (2.5-5ml) per gallon
I have not seen any adverse reactions with any of the gear that I have running.

Says no more then 5 ml. But i have givin max amount of 5ml per G and not seen any bad changes in my plant, no bunring or anything. I want to take your word for it, just dont wana hermi my ladys yeah knoow?
Maybe i will save the 10ml per G for the last 2 feedings, player safe

I should have said that I work up to 10ml (gallon) for a couple of weeks, then taper off prior to flushing. I agree, first sign of any hemies would have to look at enviroment & feeding program. Sorry for any misunderstanding.

thats what i used in soil and coco just before going to the K.I.S.S. route with good results. i just hate how thick the Floranova is.

I am not using lucas meth till, next grow and i will use maxi bloom.

Right now i am going by GH chart and right now i am doing 3.75ml Bloom / 2 L and 2.5 ml koolbloom / 2 L

Powdered KB is not suppose to be used from the start BUT either way I can't see it making your plants hermi any more then say something like bud blood unless they are already genetically messed up or you gave them WAY too much of it.

don't use the doseage on the bottle .... 15ml of FNB will burn your plants ... ask me how i know lol . stick to the lucas recomondations of 8ml of FNB & your good to go . before switching to just maxi bloom (the kiss method ) i was using the dosages on the GH nute chart for flora nova bloom & flouroloicios bloom & had all kinds of probs .

I have been running KoolBloom liquid @ 10ml per gal for the last couple of weeks with no ill effect. Run to waste, gh 3 part, Cal-Mg and Silica. p98bk is the strain.
First time usuing it.

Same here. I used powdered koolbloom for the first time on my last plant and low and behold I have my first hermie on a clone I've run 4 times now.

I've been using both the liquid and powder for many many years now. The liquid is not too strong, and I have yet to have any issues using it even at 9-10ml/gal. I use GH 0-6-9 with liquid KB at 3-5ml/gal now with great results.

The powder, it is my understanding that the super strong powder stresses the plant, makes it think it's dying, and that's why it responds with more trichs and fattening up. If this is so, I can definitely see how using it early could cause plants to herm. I only use the powder KB on the very last feeding before flush.

Maybe I started using the powder too early.
