Everything is looking teriffic Silver. The White looks like a very nice hybrid. How many weeks do the ND stretch for from flip? :plant grow:

Thanks smilley! So happy to see you hangin' around.. The Nightmare stretches for every bit of 5 weeks, give or take.. :D

Man that white looks amazing, as do the rest of the plant's. The leaves on that nightmare diesel lokk so awesome. I love it when they get that sheen. Congrat's on the baby, especially a boy!! Someone to carry on tradition if he decides to.

Skulls and flames and shit FTMFW! :headbange

Seriously though, shit looks fuckin healthy for someone who only has time for basic maintenance :blowbubbles:

Thank'a sir! Plants might not show any signs of my limited involvement, but the room itself is a f*ckin' mess :)

Actually, that's not entirely accurate. I've been making time for tinkering and project-type shit. Latest project was getting the blumats set up & dialed in in the veg tent.

So happy to have that locked down. Leaving town for the weekend, no bubbles, no troubles!

Oh! The Happy Valley I just threw in to flower .. ? It's a dude! :badday:

things are looking good!

are you running the fasilitator?

:thank you:

Nosir

I had a hard time getting past the Voodoo-feel of it. It even felt like a sacrifice to run the baseboost pellets in one of the containers.

I have to say, though, about the baseboost: While I prefer a little more love and attention to my ladies, I'd [so far] recommend the baseboost as a product for someone without any real gardening knowhow or inclination.

But, in my personal practicing opinion? :tumbleweed:

Thank killer! Glad to have you! We're just about to wrap up with the White, with a fresh batch'a Nightmare Diesels taking off, .. Your timing is impeccable! :thank you:

Okay folks. I'm back! Batteries recharged, ready to kick life and the garden right in their big fat fuckin' asses. Took a short weekend trip, great time with the wife, new city, no plans, great time meeting folks, getting extra love ;) , much hospitality. :blowbubbles:

Came back to a mostly uneventful garden. Had a runaway with one of the blumats (the one in the White's container), so it went on since Thursday eve. And on the other hand, one of the containers was on the dry side - to the lift, anyway. Plant showed no signs of stress (Nightmare w the aptus rabbit food), got her dialed back in, ..

On the runaway, it couldn't have been bad at all. The rez was not OMG lower from where I'd filled it to before I left. It almost looked like the puddle was just starting to collect (on the floor) as of today - much easier cleanup than what I've come down to overnight.

Both'a them's my fault for fuckin' with 'em before I left. Shoulda left well-enough alone, but. :shucks:

Anyway. White is swelling, everyone else is jamming, guest star ready for a flower appearance soon, the other Happy Valleys still need a sexual inspection, and y'know what?

Now that I'm home and clean and covered in dog spit, it's been bongloads of Nightmare dry sift and dabs of Goat.

Updates soon (tomorrow?), but until then..

Good night, Irene!

hey silver, is there anything different you would have done looking back through all your projects/upgrades?

correct me if I am wrong but you are now rocking 2 600w's right?

How are they compared to the 400w's?

I have only used a 150w HPS but as soon as I get the chance to expand I am getting a big boy light and I'm curious how I should go about it.

Thanks man

Hey sour!

At the moment, I'm cooking with just one 600 W. Also hanging in there is another 400 W, but it's not on.

The room's been through a more-and-then-less evolution.. :)

1. 7-8 plants on the floor, around a two stacked 400 W bulbs.
a. Too crowded
b. Would've taken more veg time than I wanted to commit in order to fully utilize the light of both 400s.

2. 4 plants on the floor around a single 600 W bulb, and a second level of 4 plants around a single 400 W bulb.
a. Worked like a charm. I just couldn't keep up with fresh plants to replace harvests. I'm limited to 12 plants total, and I've got some seed projects and general ADHD that makes it tough.

3. 4 small-medium bushes around a single 600 W.
a. Seems to be kicking ass so far. :)
b. I think there's enough space if I wanted to sneak in 2-3 additional one-gallon containers - maybe to get seedlings to show sexytime, or to run a smaller plant for shits and giggles?

What kind of space (sq ft on the floor & height) do you have?

In my room (4' x 3'), I've noticed that the flowers will sometimes show some abuse from the heat of the bulb. (This is why in my latest setup, I'm putting the plants in the corners of the room - they're the furthest points from the bulb).

heady blunts did an incredible vert grow in a 22"-tall cabinet with a 400 W. I think he got around 8 oz..

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?threadid=213844

In his situation, he was able to overcome the plants close proximity to the light by using a cool tube.

That grow is still one of my favorite here. Talk about makin' do with what ya got! :respect:

that is an awesome grow by heady blunts!

right now I'm working with an area 35"x18" works out to 4.375 sq ft. And from the floor to the bulb is 27" but if I went vert I would gain some height no doubt! I got a 150w HPS and some CFLS to supplement.

My current setup sucks tho. It's got light leaks, shitty ventilation design. Just all around sucks.

I am planning on getting a 2.5x1.5x3" tent for $75 off amazon.
3.75 sq ft.

I think I've I slapped my 150w HPS in the VERT I could grow maybe 6 or so decent size plants (relative to what I'm growing now)

thoughts?

thanks for trying to help me along!

If your shallowest side is only 18", I'd definitely get a cool tube. I'm not even sure that's enough width to keep things from getting crispy. The other key to your success would be air movement, and lots of it. :)

I don't recall heady's exact dimensions (floorspace - you've got a few inches on him in headspace), but can you recreate something closer those dimensions? I think you may want a smidgen more width than 18" on the short side, if it's feasible. :artist:

Also, don't necessarily limit yourself to tent sizes you find at the store/online. Generally speaking, it's easy to stick-build a frame and wrap it up (panda, orca, any of that) yourself, DIY styl-ee. For the size you're shooting for, it'd be a snap. :)

She's the one on the left here, and the rest of her 'til about the right third the shot. Then it's the rabbit turds on the far right.
