To KNOW Unconditional LOVE, you must learn it from the INSIDE OUT!
You have heard the sayings about Giving to Recieve, or Getting what you Give? There is TRUTH to those concepts.
We can ONLY experience something for ourselves to the extent that we BELIEVE is Capable. We Define, Judge, and Effect our Beliefs from OUR experiences, our Perceptions of Life, our Perceptions of TRUTH. If you PUT reservations or conditions on the LOVE you GIVE, you give LIFE to reservations and conditions in its Definition, and can only experince LOVE WITH reservations and conditions, as you CREATED their possibility.
The BEST you Learn TO LOVE, the BEST you Feel LOVED!

Start by Loving yourself, then your family, friends and local community. Love people, companions and the ecosystem over man made inanimate objects. Its what is alive that matters. Remember, you can't take anything with you when you die, so why not leave a legacy of Peace and Love for future generations to emulate.
Love is the capacity to take care, to protect, to nourish. If you are not capable of generating that kind of energy toward yourself- if you are not capable of taking care of yourself, of nourishing yourself, of protecting yourself- it is very difficult to take care of another person. In the Buddhist teaching, it's clear that to love oneself is the foundation of the love of other people. Love is a practice. Love is truly a practice.
