I like this, especially since you can pick up the whole assembly and move it independently of everything else. Change angle, distance from bulb, stack them two high, ect.

I want to put the bottom unit on casters, if I decide to do a full run like this. Some of the options I was considering is going with two #1 smartpots pushed to the outside edges, so you could train some outside the box to get some canopy in the corners without the clusterfuck that I always seem to have in circles...
The tray the plant is sitting on is your standard propagation tray for $3, just need a couple of small weep holes to drain, and the floor is waterproofed and sloped to a corner with a drain. It literally took me 20 minutes, and maybe $20 in material for two. Next step is set up my new drip feed manifold, too much to do and not enough time...
Thanks for the interest guys. Love the creativity in this thread, so anymore feedback is welcome!

20$ for two? Can you get your mitts on some free pallets? New setups for free 99!

Lol, yeah I could have used cheaper materials, but they were scraps from my build...

The PVC works great for trees, and I will keep using them. I built the box with the idea of 2 high, finishing at 30-36".
Easier on schedule with 4 rooms to pump out 12-16 inch plants from my veg than trees. And, plant count impacts yield, so this was my attempt at a happy medium without having to take hundreds of cuts for the 64 plant racks. If I went that route I could have as many as 10 4x4 racks to feed...

JB`s consumed with induction lighting PW.......He`s also prolly baked outta his gourd with all the meds he just yanked , and.....

Him and BST BOTH disappeared in the same time frame , so it could be the beginnings of a "Vert Conspiracy" and upgrade behind the scenes......Oh Ok......

I can hope anyways......JB.....BUMMMMPPPP !!!!!!!!!!........and where the Hell`s BST ?........Ya`ll walk toward the light........:moon:.......

Peace.....Freds.....:ying:......

Ill post a nice update soon.... Just waiting on a little more swellage to get some nice pics up... Oh, and Im buying a new camera, not an easy task for one as anal retentive as myself..

Shit is getting dialed more and more..

As for the induction lights, the dude isnt as crazy as he sounds, Ill just say that...

The science behind photosynthesis is very complex and I doubt most of the people responding with immediate contempt have a fuckin clue how plants see light....

All it would take is the right frequencies at a constant wavelength to trump a HID, which really is a shitty light, converting most of its usable energy in the form of heat..

Ive been telling folks about par wattage since LED's have made headway on their spectrum..

Problem is tho, Vertical is the only way I can fathom growing, just like in nature, the sun ALWAYS comes from the side.... NOT THE TOP... Someone please argue this and say vert growers dont abide by natures standards compared to horizontal...

Dewd.......I NEVER questioned the induction lighting concept with Zodiac.......

I questioned his motives as well as the distinct stink that came from givin inspiration credit to a person I`ve known online for more yrs than I care to remember that NEVER finished a thread bout his "Be all End all" setups , and that`s where my red flags got thrown up.....

I`ll NEVER say that a new mouse trap can`t get made , but I will say that proof`s in da pudding and I`m from Missouri , so "Show Me"......

Peace....Freds.....:ying:.....

Freds, initially you came in that thread skeptic but full of well wishes..

As did I...

I dont think you could have played it any better bro....

As for Jrosek... Well, I dont know him, or anything about him.. I dont need to, I know you...

But this new cat may be on to something, and Id like to see his theory in concert, and that cant happen if the thread gets closed, and it wont be the op's fault...

Oh, and Im sure BST is a little "busy" atm... lol...

I threw in that Louis, SLH and sourk yesterday..

Shits bout to get to interesting...

hit me up later if you arent to busy on your tandom two seater bicycle, bwawhahahaha

damn they got rid of the induction thread. And jbonez is right he is on to something. I dont need to hit 20 a light or even half that but anything beyond what everyone else is getting is well worth it.

I saw that... Was a only a matter of time before that thread imploded..

The op is prob rethinking his strategy for presenting the evidence.. I understand why he wants to do it that way..

Well if they closed the thread maybe no one here saw my post because I think I must've gotten in just before the bin. I did a lot of research on induction lights, and I'm aware of par watts etc. I found, overwhelmingly, the 400w induction lights did not live up to their hype. They just don't live up to the 400w=1000w hype. Now, you can doubt me because I didn't save all the threads I found (hell, I think I found them all). There was one thread on a dutch forum that looked promising, but it was a scrog that only ended up coming in at .8 g/w. So, my final thought on induction lighting was this: If you have major heat problems and were thinking about going to led or big t5 panels, the induction light is probably going to be better. If you are switching from hids then you are probably going to be disappointed. Now, those things would make for some really good veg lights, I think. On average I noticed people getting about the same g/watt as hid if not a little less.
