They're rated at 150w so if you got the room you could use the 90w CFL's as long as the heat is in line. Right now I'm hitting 75*f with lights on and 65* with lights off...

Thanks Noyd... Sure lots do Bonsai all over the world to kleep there mothers, not sure if this is Bonsai but it's in a 1gal pot...
True story.Once in the early 80s I saw a flowering bonzai(d) female that sat under a grow lamp on someones coffee table.None of the leaves were longer than 3/4" and it had a thick woody stalk with a perfect basketball sized sphere of vegitation.They said it was trained to grow small leaves by trimming every leaf and never letting one get bigger than 3/4".

Well the 6500k standard bulbs are better for vegg ... I have heard that if you switch over to 3000k or lower new t5ho optimized red bulbs you can get the same gpw as lower power hps bulbs
so how come you switched to hps??
i like the first grow you posted up under the t5. only thing is on your close up pics the bud looks quite airy esp on the ak. do you think t5 but has less density in general?

Yes ZZ I plan on flowering under the T5s. I have my red spectrum bulbs ready.
Please read the thread, I did not switch. That 400w HPS is another grow I have going I thought others might enjoy...
Depends on the Grower, T5's buds are generally smaller in size but I find density wise they are very comparable to my 400w HPS grows...
Hey ZZ, it's starting to look like my tall sativa cabinet is going to end up being T5 VHO instead of T5HO... I have a ballast that will power 4 of the 54w T5HO tubes, but it runs them at 80w instead. Will I still be allowed in the club? Don't make me have to create another club (of which I will probably be the only member, lol).
