I enjoyed the series "Ancient Aliens" that talks all about aliens visiting us in our ancient past and shaping the way our species and our civilizations took shape. Most people call bullshit on this entire show, but even if none of it was true it was still an interesting watch. Did they ever come out with a second season? I am going to have to check that out. It's on Netflix streaming if you're interested.

Knowing what we know now about all those crazy bright lights we see in the sky at night, it defies logic to believe that OUR particular little rock is so fucking "special" after all.

Not only are there other assorted rocks with life flying around out there in the universe, but I'll bet a pack of choice seeds there's a metric ass ton of life in our very own galaxy.

And when they find us, we're fucked.

Maybe aliens want to come here because.... Earth girls are ez.lol
Couldn't help myself. But we do fuck for fun, so...

women's main power is beauty, it attracts with its magical spell :D

women are so beautiful in general, that there's this tale about fallen angels, that saw how the 'daughters of men' were so freaking sexy, so they came down from the sky and took the women they liked best to mate with.

out of this mating, a hybrid breed was born, and was one of the reasons why in the old testament, the earth was flooded, to cleanse this deed that the fallen angels had done.

:yoinks:

there's all kinds of angles to interpret this as found in the old testament and other texts though... some people say that the 'fallen angels' came down from a mountain, and not from the sky, and that they were not angels at all, but high cultured men... so who really knows what's the truth behind these writtings...

that's so wrong is not even funny.

no where in the old testament is there a number relating to how old the earth is.

these are difficult books to understand, not for everyone.

for example, it says, in the first day God created the heavens and the earth, but guess what? it wasn't until "days" later that the Sun was created, so how do we measure in terms of time that first day and the "days" prior to the Sun being created?

:yoinks:

don't talk of what you don't know next time, makes you look real bad.

A gullible man reads the bible, and an ignorant man calls him a fool!

Why shit on other people's beliefs / values? Best just to bite your tongue.

personally, I don't mind criticism of any kind, but at least make good arguments and not some straight-up lies.

these so-called 'rationalists' and 'freed from religious obscurantism' peeps just parrot some lie that bounces around without any proof.

I'd really like to see where in the old testament it says that the earth is actually 6000 years old.

it won't happen because it does not say so anywhere.

peace!

yea i dont like to pass judgement on others beliefs especially because there is no way to prove that there is or isnt a god but lets not get sidetracked! i personally believe there is no god as most religions say there is but each to their own beliefs.

insulting peoples religious beliefs is a great way to get this thread shut and binned. if you are not able to discuss the topic of alien life and related matters without insulting others or their religion your input will not be put up with for long.

cheers

This was about alien life but now we travel into the realm of belief.

The Bible is many books and truth is often presented in fiction so to say that there is no truth or wisdom in the Bible is incorrect.

A fool is one who makes outlandish statements intended to offend. I am not offended by atheists but one truth presented in the bible is the quote, "call no man a fool".

Let me tell you about my first sighting...May 18, 1974.

It was the night the cops burned the SLA headquarters where Patty Hearst was a supposed hostage. My old friend Pete was with me and we had watched the late news and then we went out on the porch and we were even saying how cool it would be to see a UFO.

It was nearly midnight and we saw two white flashing light coming towards us low on the horizon to the south. We figured it was just a plane but we were high and went out in the yard and it came right overhead only about five hundred feet up and moving very slowly.

Then we noticed the low humming sound...felt it actually as it is a sub audible vibration mostly and it sounded like an electrical hum or perhaps something spinning inside.

We knew it wasn't a plane by then and I had a flashlight so we blinked the light three times at it. Suddenly the white lights all went red and blinked at us three times back. When it did this we felt a push in our heads like a tap on our heads or something and it really blew our minds because when we flashed the light we thought to it to communicate with us.

We thought the flashing and head pushing was communication of a sort and the way it floated slowly along got us to watch a lot that summer. I remember writing the incident down to try and make sense of it and then we smoked some weed but we never forgot that first time.

Seeing is believing I guess and I hope you get a chance to see one because it really blows your mind. I swear that all I tell is true on my dead friend Petes grave.
