No i def agree with you man, just saying I think those guys have the strongest arms, it doesn't mean I think they're the best qb's because of it.

you win that one.

LOL....yeah I have really come to the realization that he probably won't win us one man, especially after this year he soured me. The int on the swing pass I could have shit myself after that. As a fan who is stuck with him though I need to embrace what little he does well. I really hope the cowboys address the o-line to try and help him a little, won't stop those awful decision but at least he'll have more time to make those awful decisions.

I still think Ben and Joe can throw as hard or harder than Cam....Cutler is up there too.....but Cutlers another one of those aweful decision guys......Shit Byron Leftwich is another rocket arm too.......probly not in the same league as the others but if just pure arm strength alone he's gotta be in the conversation

That respectable man, I know Ben's your boy but I think flacco throws it harder. Big Ben is def a better all around QB though no questions. I have to say though Cam and Big Ben are comparable guys when you think about it, what I mean by that is their both huge guys with big arms who can scramble around and get out of trouble. Big Ben being the better decision maker and Newton at this point of his career having the better legs. I find those two guys to be totally unique QB's no one really like them in the league....If Newton was smart he would watch a lot of film of Big Ben and try to model his play, the guy is a HOF he could learn a lot from him.

BTW Big Ben's play this year went a long way with me, I mean this in a respectful way, your team wasn't that good this year and Big Ben just patches up all the holes, its a shame the O-line was thin this year and he got hurt. They're in the playoffs if he plays.

for the 1st time in ic history I might agree with everything you just said.......yea Ben covers up alot of problems....but f.b is the ultimate team sport...imagine how good that team would be if they actually got players to fill in those holes instead of relying on Ben to pick up the slack....like back in 05 when the D was just nasty all across the board..the o line had faneca and hartings Bettis at rb and Hines,Holmes, and Heath....and of course Cowher calling the shots

There are more than a few hard throwers in the nfl, arm strength being one of the requirements of the job. I think it is hard to tell for the most part whose arm is stronger when you're comparing two hard throwers, as probably most of the time they're not throwing full strength, for accuracy, touch, etc.
Cutler has elite arm strength but that is often negated by bad mechanics. Sometimes he goes into eff it mode, throwing deep passes off his back foot. Even with his arm strength, by the time the ball gets there the receiver is double covered. Unless he's playing the Broncos with under a minute left, in which case the receiver can get behind the entire defense. Haha, just had to throw that in there. Seriously though, they fired their DB coach because of that, it was that bad. One of the best secondaries all season, one terrible mistake and the team loses and dude gets fired. That's football for you.
Kaepernick's got a strong arm, seen him play a few times this season and he can really zip the ball, those midrange, Favre-like darts. And he's got a nice deep ball that gets there quick with some air under it too. He was drafted by the Cubs as a pitcher, right? Like Elway, those pitchers have live arms. Stafford was a pitcher...

Agreed baba, really hard to tell who throws the "hardest." Just watching games you can narrow it down to a handful of guys tho i think. I'd love to see Flacco, Newton, Kaep, Stattford, and Cutler all compete with a radar gun, that be so much fun to watch.....kind of like when they use to do the fastest man in the NFL.

Homer J, HOLY SHIT! we actually agreed on something....must have been a full moon last night or something, haha. Also your right and bring up a good point...Big Ben is so good he can basically put your team in the playoffs by himself, yet he still needs the right/healthy players around him to get that ring.

its not fair to put blame on cutler. he might have had the worst o line in the league plus lots of injury up front. He got no time in the pocket.. ever.
