How do you feel about Molson?
I switch off between the labatt and molson. both are smooth and tasty and a decent price for a go-to beer.
Some scissor hash on top of some quick dried SLH. Also a new bong I picked up for $100:
Some more SLH nugs. These things are sooooo dense. I usually give them a slight tap with the scissors after the final pass to knock off any loose bits of leaf... from that I have the feeling the SLH is gonna be the yielder.

Rule of thumb, if its got a maple leaf on the bottle...you've got a good tatsing beer.
How much longer for the SLH you reckon? Nice looking plants man.

I ended up letting the SLH go 72 days. I think 3-4 days past those pics if i recall correctly. Could have gone to 80 but i needed to clear out the room.
Weighed one of the SLH last night: 93 grams. Touch over 3 ounces. Compared to the white rhino at 63 and the first iced grapefruit at 66 i think we got a winner for the mono crop.
Should have the final tally tonight out tomorrow. Letting everything get a nice slow dry, chamber set to 65% humidity.

surely if the SLH weighs in then the quality would make it a no brainer for monocrop status? Ive only heard good about it.

Yup. Its definitely the winner from this round. Already dropped the white rhino. Need to smoke more iced grapefruit before i decide on that. g13 x NL was a paltry 58g. Needed more veg time but its for head stash. I will keep the cut on hand.
Stiff competition coming up. Transplanted 2 deathstar, 2 killing fields, 3 Afghani mango and 1 Candy tonight. Cleaned the flower chamber, put them in, and set off a pro-control bomb. Will veg for a week then flip. Pics soon.
Total yield was 21 oz.

Yup. It's a but to stoney for me personally but nice for bedtime or headaches. However, it's basically one of a handful of strains my region is actually known for and people want it.
Also 72 days like the SLH. Flushed out great and decent yield. Such a great smell and a nice balanced stone that doesn't keep you glued to the couch.

i'm baaack
i'm baaack
okay now that i am done over-indulging in the fruits of my labor... let me just open up a window in here and clear some of this smoke out..... okay that's better. i'm back!
so i was able to get the next round transplanted and watered in within 48 hours of finish the harvest. however... something went terribly wrong and my plants did not respond well. here is what they were looking like a few days ago:
much yellowing, splotching, all around ugliness. possible factors:
- setting off a bomb in that small of an area
- transplant mix was too hot (pre-charged)
- transplant mix lacking in CaMg
- too much light (went from 200W to 600W)
* all of the above combined
They did not get much love for the last week or so as I have been rather busy. Just hand watering with 1/2 strength nutes until I could see what they were doing. Once they started to recover, and new growth was looking good, I trimmed most of the dead bad stuff off and cleaned off the bottom of the plants.
I also installed 3-wall screen, and put wire racks on the floor to get the pots off the cold tile. Temps have been quite cold around here and I think having the pots directly on the floor was a contributing factor in the rather small root-mass I observed on the plants from the harvest.
Cleaned out the res, filled with fresh 1/2 strength bloom nutes, full strength calmag, SM-90, roots excel. pH @ 6.3, EC @ 1.5.
6 plants again. 3 Afghani Mango, 1 Candy, 2 Deathstar (1 is a runt), 2 Killing Fields (1 is a reveg). Quite the motley crew but I'm excited to see what's in store.
Going to pop some Deep Strawberry Diesel this week to ready them for the next round. Might try to get some dried shots of the harvest up, the SLH just makes my jaw drop every time I break up a nug.
