8k Perpetual DTW Coco Medical Garden

how long did you veg in the 2-gallon smarties? Also did you do any topping of them? trying to gauge space needs and time before I flip

Everything gets topped around the 4th node from clone, about 8" above the media. Some like the SWOG will be topped agian a couple weeks later.

Veg in 2 gals is 2-4 weeks depending on strain. The start in 4" square pots from rooted clone for about 10-14 days then into the smart pots. Sometimes we transplant into the 2 gals right before flower just depends on how behind we are. If the pot is well rooted before flower then you can start multiple irrigation a day off the rip. If we transplant right before flip we just adjust our irrigation cycle accordingly. By the end of stretch they are ready for 2x a day.

Thanks DHF. If it wasnt for more experienced gentlemen such as yourself sharing your wisdom we would have to of gone through much more trial and error to get where we are today. Salute!

How often do you have to clean the sytstem/drippers, and what are your procedures for cleaning?

We clean the filters directly after the pump periodically through the cycle. Not much is usually in there we just do it anyways for cleanliness. After a cycle we run about 5-10 gallons of Physan20 solution through the system with a stop midway for about 10 minutes so the manifold is full and in contact with the Physan20 solution to insure disinfection of the inside surfaces.

Probably not necessary but the cleaner the better I say. Gives you a fresh microbial palette to start from.

We also clean the sediment filters in the 9 outlet sprinkler converters at the end of a bloom cycle. Usually not much there.

This thread makes me want to get back in the game, bigtime!

Any thought of using delivery services as opposed to clubs to decrease risks?

Also, for a grow this size one probably has to have another job making at least $70k+ correct?

Also, any sorta HEPA type filter on the intakes?

Asking someone in a public forum, in this trade, how much money they pull down each year is not cool. But people typically dont run operations that lose money. What makes you think a delivery service will "decrease risk"?
Ah, delivery services. Reminds me of The Pope of Pot who had an 800 number in NYC. He lasted a while I think, this was a few decades ago: The Police Disconnect 1-800-WANT-POT

You have to have been in the game at one point to get back in the game there bigtime. This is MI not CA.

There are 4 HEPA filters on the AC intakes. All the room air is pulled through the AC even when it is not on and cooling the room.

HAH! Must be nice to be in a Med State. Been in the game since 01', no disrespect, just trying to learn from the quasi legal guys. I know Krunch mentioned staying away from clubs because they are Fed hotspots, and "delivery services" are harder to track down.

Anyway, In MI you guys can't go to the clubs anymore I thought? Or was new legislation passed that I missed?

Happy farming

Where the fuck did u hear that? Clubs in mi are not hot spots for anything but weed and yes we can go any time we want. How would walking up to sn unknown door with weed and cash be any safer than a controlled environment with secuity features, like bullet proof glass and locked steel doors?

Hey high life don't want to get OT, but I'm tempted to ask about your sig "FDA Warning: The FDA has not approved marijuana for medical use in the United States and concluded with a recommendation to DEA that marijuana should remain in Schedule I pursuant to section 201(b) of the CSA. FDA's close working relationship with DEA and local law enforcement agencies has led to many successful criminal cases involving controlled substances. FDA cooperates with DEA and other state and Federal agencies.".

Is that the Federal Dumb Asses?! They've literally "legalized" a bunch of poisons from the big food and drug companies from Aspartame to Zoloft. What's next on their agenda, Marinol?! Actually I'm tempted to laugh! :D

"Been in the Game" to us growers means at least 4-5 crops a year no stopping in between, year after year. Considering you want to "get back in the game" Id say you dont fit that work ethic, especially since you think this is a game.

Do you live in MI? If not I'm pretty sure you miss a lot of news that is going on with our laws and legislation. Krunch isn't either so I wouldnt take anything he has to say about CA and apply it to MI. This is one of those places where you have to have feet on the ground and an ear to the street.

You have to have some tact to be in business here. Talking about money off the rip with a scarface tee shirt wont get you very far in these circles, they are tight..

Thanks Vert your always on the up in up!

Thanks guys for the great comments, updates soon just cut down the Sour Bub and repotting plants to move over today.

Chug a chug a chug a chug a chooo chooo !

Update!

Update!

We were doing a few modifications to the room this week. This meant things off the drippers and a lot of hand watering.

We removed our old RDWC bucket systems we were using to catch run off because the tubes were getting funky and a bitch to keep clean. So we built some benches with corrugated roofing on top and installed a gutter system around the room. Works great so far and is easy to clean the surface and also underneath. This is going to allow to get a new coat of paint on the floor as well.

These are Sour Strawberry Kush and Las Vegas Purple Kush at day 14. They have been steady yellowing since onset of bloom. They were transplanted the day they went into bloom from a 1/2 gal to 2 gal containers instead of 10-14 days we normally do. Then the first couple days they accidentally received 800-850 ppm from the reservoir for the plants currently in their swell stage with no Calmag in it (hand watering mix up). Also noticed at this time they were not drying out as rapidly as usual so they went through a week of wet/dry that took a couple days till they needed water each time.

Right before these pics I flushed them with FNB and Calmag at 500 ppm/1.0 ec with Drip Clean at a mL per gal. Still on track developmentally so hopefully wont tank yields too bad. See how they look in a week!

The table of Casey Jones and Skywalker OG day 47. Both are into the swell and starting to put on the weight! Trellis worked really well but still had to stake the Casey as it was not tall enough.
