Just went and rubbed a few fan leaves and based on smells...I've rotated what plant I think is going to be the winner...hahahaha.

Smells are very similar to that of gummi bears or gummi worms...but intensified. Very unusual aromas for certain. That is mixed with a bit of earthy / hash bottom end that makes for a pretty complex terepene profile as a whole...

Can't wait to sample these...some super frosty gals in the mix!

Now - what is probably the frostiest gal in the room - but smells a bit more like foot rot and a sweet hash - but is very chunky and very frosty...

plant #4 (cola from plant #6 in the back right)

This next one is the one I am thinking will ultimately be the keeper. A bit more OG in stature...but the craziest smell. Like electric cherry / melon or something - I can't even place it - but it is a beautiful plant as well.

plant #7

looking fantastic, dank.frank maybe the #7 is a lucky charm for you. it looks like it will fill out the entire length of the top. how is the height at this point? i love the size of its leafs, their color, and vigor of the plant. i believe someone is going to be in for a treat pretty soon. smoke report will have to be rated PG....hahaha. i hope some of the smells you're gettin from #7 carries over to the smoke for you. probably dreamy tasting through a vape.

Well, #7 has the heaviest terepene profiles, and is certainly in the top 3 heaviest resin producers -

They topped just fine for me, to be honest. I did give them three full weeks of veg after having topped them though, so, they had plenty of time to grow into proper form. But none of them responded sluggishly or basically stopped growing as some plants will...

They have a very unique caylx formation - unlike any I've seen. Very unique flower formations. Very small, chunky, dense with lots of resin. The fact that the flowers have stacked so well along the main stems means they will still yield just fine - I'm really curious to see how much more the flowers will fill in as they mature...

The tallest one is about 40" and the shortest about 36" - so I got roughly 1.5 - 2x stretch on the ladies. And I guess to give you a better scale - in the first picture of plant #4 - that cola is about 16".

the tops on these plants look so good and filled in i actually forgot that you had topped them. i'd say they do respond well to topping!!

Will give a full 7wk update on Sunday. I know I skipped a week. I just didn't feel like moving things around to get pictures...

They are fattening up nicely though, I should say. Not much resin maturation yet. So unless they just suddenly race to the finish line, the earliest girl will come down at 9wks likely and the rest to follow at 10 or 11...

On the home stretch now basically. Should start seeing some signs of senescence beginning in the next 10 days I would expect...full steam ahead...

I'll be honest though...these plants did feed a bit more hybrid - and not so much along the typical "OG" type of hunger...

I'd say medium-heavy feeders at best. Here nearing wk seven they are just starting to show the first onsets of a Mg def...meaning I could correct it without there being any actual visible damage to the leaves. So, I think I'm just going to let them ride it out. Keep giving them just water and let them start fading if they feel they are ready for it...

Since they aren't super aggressive feeders, I don't think letting them start to fade with about 3 wks left is going to hurt my final results...

Mine were underfed for sure. Probably had something to do with that fact that I never fed them. Well I top dressed some bat guano around week 3 or 4.

I took mine to 10 and some were left on the stem in the pot in the dark for about 12 1/2.

Holidays had my schedule all messed up.

thats what I do last 2-3 weeks no food. I have had some very robust plants that wouldn't fade after 3 weeks . I still harvested them dont wont over ripe buds ;)..

He's saying my secret method is the NSPB: FLF mix...

But I'm technically not running the entire mix right now. Sort of a modified version with what I had laying around. Normally I'll amend a medium with 16-22 different things (yeah, I know, but truly it all serves a purpose) but this medium only has I think 8 or 9 different amendments.

I think I used: blood meal, bone meal, high N guano, high P guano, seabird guano, azomite, greensand, dry molasses, ewc, diatomaceous earth, kelp meal, dolomite, ...might be all I have around at the moment...so I guess what is that 12 things.

That being said, I know I can get more out of one of these girls if I keep it around and run it properly...and that says a lot, as they are already nothing to shun.

I'm seeing many of the other testers did not or are not keeping theirs around, but I think my #7 is going to be some show stopper. For the simple aspect of being unique - there really is NOTHING I've come across that smells like this herb. Small, cookie like chunky nuggets with varying resins. Some really oily/greasy, while others seem to be more sticky/tacky. I wish I knew what the difference was on a scientific level between such variations in the glands...but the #7 has both the geasy and the tacky and is by far the loudest of the girls. She has really begun to fill out her flowers too - so unless the everything is lying to me - she is going to be some fabulous smoke.

With 3rd Cost pulling a nice 23%+ THC report on one of his phenos - I know there is potential here in this seed line for some real quality...

It has me a bit annoyed honestly. I've almost decided I'm going to trim / prepare each plant for a proper re-veg - that way, I don't fool myself and miss the actual best SMOKING plant....the best medicine.

From just looks alone - it's very hard to make a decision. Out of these 8 ladies, at least 4 or 5 of them are screaming to be run a second round. It's kind of forced me to put seed sprouts on the back burner for a minute knowing I'm going to have to dedicate room to re-vegging a couple more plants than I'd have expected...

BUT in all likeliness, I think this #7 is a winner. Between weeks 5-7 she has really begun to show her superiority to a couple of the others and if that trend continues into the finish - :woohoo:

Anyway - you get the idea.

Might be time for a little snip if you have not done so yet.

Honestly I gotta say, I straight neglected my girls for the last few weeks of their life. The term "crispy critters" comes to mind when I think about them. I'm talkin no water lights on baking like a pie. You could trim it with your bare hands. It all just crumbled off!!!

But the bud that remained oh my it was good.

I got some Biker that I'm gonna run soon enough. I expect the same strength in that.

I didn't want to disappoint this week without anything new to show - things are rocking right along here at the 7th week of flower - 49 days in - for the most part things are really just starting to mature and fill out now. Smells ripening, and flower getting heavier. Branches starting to get a bit floppy on some. Went ahead and zip tied a few stems to their stakes here and there...

Things just keep getting moved around. So from left to right, you see 6-8, and a cola on the right side of plant 3:

Here is a shot of plant 6:

Some of the bottom nugs on plant 8:

And then - the queen bee - plant 7. She'll be done in 9wks...home stretch!!
