Very nice Vuk looks like buds starting to form up and join really good progress
your going to have some really nice big buds on top as well them lower buds will get huge might not join up as it appears there is lots of space in-between

next time i think more cropping going into 10th day of flower will solve that issue

brother,, I know now the issue was when they first go into 12/12, next time I'll blast them with all the LED panels and as much wattage as I can .......within reason ..<<<<<<LMAO!! (here come the welder's goggles..LOL)

Don't get me wrong, I fully agree with your advise as well but I only had the 2-190W panels in there at the time and that really stunted them.........

For all you people following along and interested in the grow because of the LED factor, I am really starting to think about a reasonable power ratio between LEDs and HIDs. With the chips I use in my HML and the panels I have as well, the ratio is somewhere around 0.75:1 or..........750W LED to 1000w HID<<<<<<<<this is just a guess mind you and I know there will be a lot who will disagree with me and hey.....I welcome the debate.

I am just saying that the panels and chips I have....which I have no problem admitting are of a lower Chinese quality. I am sure that if my panel was made with Bridgelux or Cree or Osram chips, the results would be greatly different and by that I mean that the ratio would be more pronounced to the point of maybe even 0.5:1.

Whatever the case may be.......the education continues and I thank you all for following along while I learn and share my findings for the benefit of us all!!!!

Thank you for the question though, I never actually thought of that and probably neither have many others specifically due to the fact of all the misleading information out there. I am pretty sure seeing that I see here that watt for watt, LEDs would, at the very least, stay on par with HIDs althought I know from experience that the quality of the buds is a lot better with LEDs. No, I am not making a bias statement there, I have seen the results personally and I am just talking quality, not quantity......yeah, that's going to be definitely something that will be tested in the coming year..:tiphat:

It's a blessing to have people in the field doing these experiments. I'm at the opposite end of the spectrum running a tiny 84-x PRO LED but I always wonder what I could actually cram in there and make it worth the extra $$.

Great show!!

Those bad girls are sure taking shape and looking yummy.
Ive been looking into LEDs for a small 20''x40''x40'' micro so your thread caught my attention. Since i am new to LEDs i have a ton of questions and am learning everyday.

In my quest for lights to meet my height requirements i am lost in the 1w or 3w choices, 1w will allow me to not be so worried about heat and height as well as coverage since i can pack the less in there. The 3w leds will allow me to get some penetration into the bud sites and grow fuller denser kolas..............how close can a 3w led be kept to a vegging plant or a budding plant, i figure i can train plants to stay 12'' from led but it will be tough to enforce.


Vokman: any issues with the H160d-210w being too close? How close to the buds do you feel the lamps can be without encountering issues.

Lastly, have i checked around for pricing on many lamp manufactures and models and i wanted to run by you and the fans on your thread a ad/site from growblu. They carry the Byson Helios line in the usa with a great 3year warranty, great pricing, and cheap shipping. My guess is this is a temp sale site and wont be up for long but it def appears to be growblu's even though i would call them before i sent funds.

I would be between 60-75w sqf(360-450w) to ensure full coverage and a great overall yield. I am looking for a multiple lamp setup to even the coverage and include angles like your grow. I thought possibly three of the h160d-210w would do the trick but they are the most expensive option so that might be passed over.................Would these lights at this cost be a safe bet for me to put in my grow space?

Every time i see them updates i have to say this grow is by far one of the best LED grows i have seen atleast a grow that is comparable to hps in some way or form keep the updates coming looks great for a rookie lol
