Shooting Powder

"House & Garden - Shooting PowderFirst, add base nutrients and other additives to achieve EC1.2/PPM 840. Mix well and adjust PH to 5.8.

Mix required amount of Shooting Powder in a bucket with small amount of water until dissolved, then add to reservoir. The PH will rise slightly which enables the plants to absorb P&K easier. Do not adjust PH. "

I love H & G. It really fixes a lot of problems I've had in the past. From the get go with leaf curling nd mutations in my coco. And fed with H &G full line and boom fixed it and completely perked em up. Love itttt

A lot of people prefer the Canadian website/calculator for H&G.

Question, I am finally gonna use SPowder. Do I use it everyday forthe last 3 weeks or once a week?

Spowder Is really potent stuff I wouldn't use it everyday at all. you use it very sparingly. Il double check on what one of the reps I talk to on the regular talk to. Sai

any of you guys use h and g in an ebb and grow or similar setup. im switching from coco and have already bought my system and im just waiting on my coco run to finish up. I CANT WAIT!! i love and miss hydro. ive run aqua flakes before with great success. i was running the full line and it was great. the only time ive had issues was when in coco. i think im gonna go back to running the full line in hydro and see whats up.

ive been running veg + bloom and i will say its been good except with the addition of silica blast it has been clogging my blumats and killed a plant recently. i think im done with blumats for a while and the whole experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth with coco lol.

i think veg + bloom is pretty good but ive had some issues this run that dont seem to be nute related but now im scared to run it again lol. i think i will do a few in DWC's with veg + bloom and the rest in h ang g's full line and see what happens.

i did want to ask whats up with all the h and g flowering additives. when you look at what they are derived from its all basicly the same 3 ingredients yet repacked and renamed. i assume they are of different proportions thus effecting plants differently? idk.

Hey guys and gals. So I been thinking about something. Drip clean that is. Gotta love the stuff. Recently I've been making super soil. Organic amendments and such. Now My question Is would using drip clean mess with the whole organics of the soil. Would it be pointless to use it if I'm obviously using straight organics. Cause not sure if I'm gonna need to really feed them with bottled nutrients really this would be my first "true" organic soil run. So forgive me! Umm I wanted to ask something else but I forgot. It's late. I'm actually driving and posting this Lmao. Nuts

I've used it in soil/coco. Or I guess just Soiless. But never with organic soil. Like actually caring about the bennies microbes. I guess wen I did kept replenishing them so it def counterproductive Which it's supposed to be used. Just not the organics. Wanted to know if it will kill the beneficials and complete defeat the purpose of going organic. Ill try to do some more research but my gut tells me it will

So using cap beenies or anyother teas/beenies would be a waste of time if youre running H&G entire line? All the nutes would just kill off all of the beenies?

I mean I don't know 100% if it will kill all the bennies. But maybe the drip clean will. I don't want to steer you in the wrong direction and tell you that It does or doesn't. But I will find out for sure cause I need to know as well. I'm gonna ask them. If there soil AB won't and additives. I know that some additives are organic based so those won't. But I'm assuming the salt based nutes might. Ill make sure and post

i would like to chime in some possibly relevant info...... have you guys ever had mushrooms growing in your pots with your plants? i have. i dont know what kind they were(not the kind i would have liked them to be) but they grew and fully developed. this was under athe full h and g line in coco with all the additives as well as that great white innoculant beneficial bacteria stuff. to me this says that the environment may not be ideal but some definately survive. was it helpful or worth it? idk. but it could have been. i add it in my coco that has been slightly ammended with good stuff and sits in a big tub between runs to let it cook. i just add the powder and some algen extract as well as a little cal mag. if the mushrooms can survive so can other things.

I have been using it everyday. Just make sure you get A/B set to 1.2 instead of 2.0

If I recall correctly, in the first week where you add 1 pack to 100 litres of 1.2 A/B solution, it raised the ec to 1.6, and the next 2 weeks where you add 2 packs, I think my ec went up to 1.9.

Hi, I used it for a couple of jobs ,took a while to get use to but its good flavour and resin production but dont listen to grow charts or bottle advice use half or a quater of feed menus as for shooting powder .id go ec 10 then add shootin powder and boosters which takes you up to 15 to18 not to hot .this was in coco and you cant resuse. When shootin powder is in it .as if reused it burns young plants and dimishes yeilds ,I'm using canna aqua now a bottle lasts ages as its recircling. little less yeild but I can reuse medium which is cheaper and safer .less trips to shops.peace

So your saying the flavor an resin production was good compared to let's say Kool bloom dry ? If you ever used it. I'm just teying to decide which I should use or use both on either separate or same plants. Meaning one day use the SP and the next feed use th KB dry.
