Would the stealth grow products be considered advanced Medmaker? I have (4) of the 602V's. If you would like I can post a picture of a unit with out the skirt on?

He means 'AdvancedLED.com' lights. Not just an 'advanced' light.

I'm sure though we would ALL love to see the internals that you might have though. Any more peeks into other lights to see their thermal management (or lack thereof) and PCB boards.

My apologies. I will take some pictures if you like. My camera is down for the moment, and needs a day for a cleaning, after that I can post pictures. I have 3 different generations of the light, each with different diode and color configurations but the internal circuitry seems to be the same. One exception is the newer lights utilize a 3-in-1 transformer instead of the 3 individual low voltage transformers. My units are the older models. The heat management systems, I thought were pretty "standard" between manufacturers, with 4in." axial fans being the weapon of choice to combat heat build up.

I do not know much about LED's beyond the basics. I simply prefer them for vegetative state due to low heat, minor current draw, and high performance. However I would like to educate myself further on the subject. Pulling up a seat here will help, I'm certain.

another update... up to 161 products now

1. Spectra LED

2. Illumitex (12 items)

3. Lumigrow Lumibulbs (2 items)

the lumigrow stuff and the illumitex mini stuff are interesting... smaller footprint, lower price and specific spectrums...

i also could find no warranty info for the illumitex, but i did find a blog stating they don't have one and their customer service sucks so beware. i have emailed a retailer to find our for sure...

btw, still need pricing for the Bysen stuff. anyone have it? they have not returned my email yet... once i have pricing i can add those to the spreadsheets...

You might want to add the LG Unit I am running right now. There are several sizes in this series, this is the largest. _http://lgledsolutions.en.alibaba.com/product/692842022-213321803/600W_led_grow_light.html_

Power draw reported at 385, but it seems like I have read someone got 345 off of one, so 345 worst case. There are 7 or 8 bands of the spectrum in these lights.... their description is not totally accurate. Lumens re also reported as being 20000 on one page and I saw 25000 on another, so...

You're going to spend around $550-600 to have one shipped to the US, best case. Compare that to the crazy domestic pricing and you will think two or three times like I did.

These work at least moderately well, but you must keep these cheaper units cool.

well the Bysen rep just wants to ask a lot of questions and make recommendations to me. they wanna SKYPE and ask more questions and make recommendations.

i told them if they could not provide pricing for ALL of their arrays then i was not interested.

so needless to say, i only have the price for one of their X2 lights. if they don't want to be up front and honest with me, their lights are not going into my spreadsheets...

again, if anyone has the prices, i would love to have them.

otherwise, BSLED is shit out of luck with me.

Please do not add every single crap China pizza box light to these lists. That's what those LG lights are.
