Moved the res and Brain out today.
The push fittings made it very easy.
I connected the top and bottom feeds together on the PVC and on the buckets. Saved myself a lot of shop vacc'n this way.

The other room has some amber trichs finally. :)
Will be pulling down the rest of em next week.

you got some splainin' to do lucy!

i think i see top and bottom feeds connected together and the bucket in the background appears to be plumbed to itself.

and why do you ever need a shop vac for this?

maybe you moved your brain a little too far out?

My brains pretty far out there. An x of mine use to work with biofeed back machines. It could read every signature in your body, crazy stuff. My head was "far into the clouds" according to her 10k machine...

The above pics were temporary

I moved the control bucket out of the room.

I had to cut the pvc lines, then glue in another piece to run them thru the wall. So instead of emptying out the entire system, I temporarily plumbed the buckets to them selves.
This kept them from drying out while I was moving the brain and top off res out. I also saved the nute solution that was in the bucket this way, because I didn't have to shop vac them out.

These are old pics...

Both pvc lines were cut a few inches away from the 45* unions you see in the pic above. If i didn't shop vac them there would be about 50 gallons on the floor when I cut the pvc..
The room instantly felt better after getting the brain and top off out.
All of the poly tube was put back after the glue dried and then we started filling the system.
This is a "Trees Only" establishment. fans and light bulbs are welcome as well. All others must consult with Management before moving into the room.

Only halfway finished with harvest.

Today is day 71.

Cant honestly say that I have grown a 10+ week strain before. Grobro and I were both a bit impatient and chopped the first three plants a bit early. We rolled up a joint as soon as it was dry enough, and the stuff works!:rasta:
The nugs are dense and solid..not fluffy and airy like last run.
I have been filling the top off res with ro water for a couple weeks. The plants flushed out marvelously.

Much Love everyone!

I am glad that I have a pressure cooker and brown rice as well, it keeps the belly full when the wallet is not.

Yeah, me too. although whaet berries or rye berries work to feed the beellly too, or even bird seed

edit...i wanted to saay that there were lots of sick pics, but the pressure cooker and brown rice comment gave me the giggles, as I had just checked a couple jars of birdseed. (and taken 6 bho rips because it hurrrrrrts

Gotta give big shout out to everyone who posts and participates in the vert forum.
I really appreciate the blessing of sharing different, likeminded and opposing cultivation techs.
Everyone here inspires me, no matter how small or big. Remote grow or cab, trees or high numbers, it's amazing that everyone is always trying to help eachother out, regardless of tin foil hats or political beliefs.
Maybe I'm a hippie.
Maybe I'm an optimist
Maybe I'm an idealist.
I proudly announce that I believe in the power of love.
Therefore love aliens.
I love you existential beings.

Now for some thing completely....incomplete ImageUploadedByTapatalk1353838758.126361.jpg

"Everyone including Mr PPK, what do ya think?"

don't eat that!

just looks like a little algae from here.

water, nutrients, and light all in the same place at the same time. remove any one and it stops.

green algae, especially green filamentous algae, won't hurt the plant but does compete a little for nutrients.

i think the biggest threat it represents is as an attractant for pests. fungus gnats love algae.

i put covers over my medium with the new wide ride containers i'm using now.

thin that plant.
