10 deg difference between night and day is pushing it. Try to keep temps as close to 78 day and night as possible. This is one of those little tricks to increase yield .
If one`s able to keep lights on and off temps constant , what it does is mimic tropical/equator type environment and benefits more sativa dominant hybrids in that it promotes stretch and increased budsites that can`t help but increase yields in the long run.....but.....

Consistency rules the day and there`s not many growers that can maintain said ambient temps within 10 degrees lights on and off "consistently" throughout the yr as the seasons change outside............Bobbles had shit dialed within 6 degrees for a brief period , but quickly found out how hard it is to do it 24/7/365 , but it`s something to strive for regardless and controllers help Tyga.....

As Mr D stated , it`s one of the things that`ll help bottomline return on investment guaranteed..........as long as humidity is taken care of as well....

Ever thought about runnin a lung room that the tents are in and exchanging each tent`s air twice per minute with the dehuey in the lung room with perfect environment as well as dehuey`ed air for max insurance the plants don`t develop air born pathogens during late bloomage ? .......

Things to ponder......Good luck and.......

Peace....DHF......:ying:......

pretty hard to keep day and night temps close and consistent all year unless running a sealed room

have you been performing satanic rituals?

just wondering with the pentagrams on the wall and all;)

Haha no I don't! Couple of friends got fucked up and decided to draw on the wall prior to it becoming the grow room haha.

Any body have an idea whats up with the very light new growth? All the plants are exhibiting this.... Common to see after flipping to 12/12?

This is one of the lessons I learned wayyyyyy back in the beginning the hard way. Once I did correct my temp variance, it made a larger increase on my yields than ANY other adjustment I have ever made in growing. Well, other than more plants and LST'ing, training, and aggressive defoliation done correctly.

In your pics at the start of the thread, is that light bleaching, burnt leaves, or a nute problem? Can't tell due to pic quality. Might wanna hop on that unless you have already.

Good luck to ya Tyga, tagged for sure!:woohoo:

Peace!

hey bro, looking good in those tents. One little suggestion, aight?

When taking pictures, unplug the Hps(s) and turn on an overhead light or a floro. The last couple rounds of pictures have been atrocious and makes it really hard to give any kind of help. I wouldn't go as far as the guy neg repping every post you make, that's kinda passive aggressive, lol.

Not trying to be a DICK, but I feel people will be more receptive to your thread with better quality pics.

Yeah whoever is neg reppin you needs to chill out. We are here about growing WELL first, not photography. Not everyone has an expensive cam.

I'll add some pos rep to ya to balance em.

Keep it green brother.

Peace!

Never really thought about it as mimicing tropics, but you are correct. However I have seen it benefit indicas also, concerning yield at least. I realized pretty quickly using intake/exhaust how hard it was to keep enviroment consistant, and over time noticed how much better my yield was at certain times of the year (i.e winter the room stayed more consistantly in the desired temp range, yields went up). Honestly can't remember who linked me to the paper, but once I started reading up on CEC (closed enviroment cultivation or sealed rooms on the boards) I knew I had to switch. That's been ~5 years back, and I doubt i'll ever do a serious grow that isn't sealed again. It's definitely more expensive to setup/run this way, but the greater yield and reduction in problems from exposing your grow to the outside enviroment (temp/humidty swing, bugs, smell escape, etc) far outweighs the extra power cost. I understand this isn't an option for everyone though, and just try to get people to dial there shit as best their enviroment will allow. Like you said controllers are VERY helpfull to this end.

Thanks guys! I'm picking up a decent camera this week and I will put up an overhead light for pics to knock off the HPS glare because I'll be first to admit that threads with SHIT pics are a turnoff! Haha... With that being said heres a few quick not so quality shots..
I have sexed all the pre98BubbaxNL5/Haze besides one who's waiting to show. Really excited with this cross I threw up a link that you guys should check out! Hoping for that #9 Pheno even though they all look like some straight killer herb...
The ECSD tent is looking good.... Day temps are 76 max and night have been hovering around 66-68. Could improve on that but don't have enough room on the circuit for a space heater as of yet. So it will do for now... One blumata has been giving me problems in the ECSD Vert tent so I do have one runt in there due to it getting severely under watered at wk5. Won't throw off to much but oh well. Hoping for an elbow of top notch out of that tent... Will throw some shots up tomorrow of those gals.
I'm counting today as day 1 Of flowering for the Pre98BubbaxNL5/Haze... I also have one of Moscas Swt in there which is a Re-veg so who knows what will come of her. Took cuts anyways because this bitch smells like straight candy!

What's up Tyga?

I'm just checking in to check out your flip flop tents and there is some good smoke there. If your having control and space issues why are you constricting yourself to tents when you have a basement available?
