How close does GDP/Grape Ape look compared to Bubba Kush - it seems they are very close? Also, is there some of the same genetics in each and does anyone know forsure?

Grape Ape, urkle, and GDP look nothing like bubba or any other kush Ive run.. bubba has the traditional kush look.. lvpk looks kushey..
ga, urk, and kens looks similar. ga and urk more so.
ive had em all and tossed em for urkle.

Whats funny is that Ken Estes talks about "purple paki" in a utube vid when he is asked about the genetics in his "creation" GDP. When most believe his cut to be erkel x BB(aka skunk) and nothing more. Ive smoked all of them....GDP, GA, erkel(have some now)...............theyre so similar.

Im leaning towards purple paki being the "purple" or " grape" in a lot of our favorite purp strains. Whatever it is im grateful for it being in existence. The wax made from erkel is divine for pain meds.

Dont let anybody fool you about the real deal Grape Ape it is truly special herb, alot of watered down versions around but I can only say mine is Outstanding. Grape Ape is the definition of purp flavor with a knock out stone.

Got in from cannacure in Ypsilanti. Was wondering how legit it was.

Great stuff, bit of a slow veg, and very little stretch making it a lower yielder, but the taste is sooo yummy.

I'll put some pics up soon. Veg, flower, and dry.

TheArchitect- I believe you hit the nail on the head. Although she doesnt yield like alot of the big yielding strains she is a decent yielder. The Grape Ape in comparison out yields by far my other top notch strains Pre 98 Bubba Kush-Platinum Bubba Kush- Purple OG Kush while these strains provide the crim del la crim to the garden they dont yield well at all, while the grape ape if given a large enough pot 5 gallons or better they will yield decent at 3-5 oz and for me that is outstanding for a real deal Purple Family, for me too much fake purp around that is really messing up the good name. This Grape Ape taste and punches every bit as good as she looks. When smoked even the pickiest conneseaur will be perplexed as to if the Grape Ape is actually Grape Ape or Purple Urkle or Grandaddy.
