I thought medman's thread was just counting his thc not everything added together? I am glad to see another greenthumb stater growing the dank! Looks like you are going to need some help smoking all that chronic...

Medman didn't know what he was posting... B/c the score is composed of several cannabinoids... Thca or d9-thc being the highest %. I just noticed that cbn is included in the total, which isn't always the case... So my sour d % is significantly overstated. I made a notation.

Ok well either way an old cut of og18 I had scored higher just by delta9 thc than his total of all the cannabinoids. After my current runs I will have to get a total score and see where I fit in. Thanks bobble.

Thanks for posting the stats Bobble. To my knowledge, CBN is when you let it go too far and the trichomes are turning amber, with cloudy being peak potency. Not sure if there is any benefits to that compound, but it is a good way to see if you are letting your plants go too long I suppose... So maybe your Sour D went a week too long? I found 75-77 days to be perfect with my cut.

exactly my point. 2 of my plants tested higher just in d9-thc, and that was just this round of tests. WTF kind of schwag are they smoking up there in Canada? :biglaugh:

I want some Goat!

You want to grow every plant you possibly can.

Stick to one strain for now Mega, get me the Goat and I will warehouse it for you...

Mega sticking to one strain is impossible... Actually, he came close once... And ever since then, he keeps adding more variety, inviting new super mites into his garden.. lol j/k I don't think Mega has had a mite in a while. :)

Actually... The high cbn doesn't scare me with a high thc strain. Between 2-3% isn't bad. The sour d ran as long as the other plants. I've seen d9-thc increase from week 11 to week 12 without a huge increase in cbn.

It's kinda hard to argue with professional testing, instead of relying on subjective opinion from smoke reports.

Lab results are fact not subjective at best from pothead`s smoke reports , since every stoner that get`s high every day has developed the tolerance from Hell and is in no way a qualified judge of potency , terpenes , or tastes either ...especially if they smoke cigarettes........but I digress.....

Lower ppm`s , dialed environment , and adequate watts per sq ft sets the table for increased levels of all the good shit in quality properly grown , dried , and cured nuggage.....period.....

Bobbles....Get to work and don`t let the new lil gf distract yas too much lol...........:moon:.....

Peace...Freds..... :ying:.....

Test results might be a fact, but it isn't comprehensive... At all.

Variations in results can be rather large... Within the same crop, and even on the same plant. Location of the sample collected makes a big difference... Say a 10-20% difference in results. Can have one sample (from the same plant and crop) test at let's say a genetic maximum of 25%....For arguments sake... And yet gt another sample test in at 21%...again,from the same plant and same crop... Just from a different location. Seen it.

Time of chop also has a similar effect... For early chops especially, but also overly ripened samples. Seen it.

How the sample is prepared and handled makes a big difference as well... Say smeared or removed glands vs a pristine sample... Or how much stem is present inside the sample... Can Make a similar difference in results.

Then there is plant health... But really a plant will express barring anything catastrophic... Meaning you can test within range despite it not being a perfect crop. How well its grown is a factor, but only to a degree... And mainly regarding seriously flawed grows.

There is a standard of deviation in results relating to the testing mechanics and protocols... You can say each test is rendered with a value and a plus/minus from that value. Standards in calibration used makes a difference, along with the machines themselves... And methods employed.

There is also the human factor in credibility... We certainly know varying testing facilities outright fudge their results depending upon whatever personal motivations they might have... Very commonly, money and profit. If they show higher results for their patrons, more will return... Especially if they tested lower elsewhere. This happens for sure.

That being said, I don't doubt or call into question bobbles results... Smoked it and it good shit! But at the end of the day... The results on paper are somewhat incomplete to whole story, and is only an indicator, and only representative of the one sample supplied from the one plant from the one location from the one method used to prepare from the one crop from the one place tested. All test samples are subject to this.

And high thc scores might very well be less favored to another plant, with another chemistry, and different perhaps more favored effects, albeit a lower testing sample. It's how it smokes that makes the big impact, not the results on a piece of paper... 'fact' or otherwise. It's the subjective nature of the herb to each person that makes or breaks a weed. And that's a fact.

Bobbles... Ain't nothing on you brother... U know I'm a big fan of testing... And hit you the marks man. But more importantly, the weed smokes good! Test results will help out more on a crop to crop comparison for the grower, not necessarily the best way to judge weed for a patient. But yeah, it does sell... But most don't realize what the numbers mean. Bigger ain't nec better... And isn't representative of the whole crop.

Honest reps from an honest testing facility will say all the same stuff... Which I happen to feel you chose the most credible place in the state,so the numbers aren't likely fudged. It's just not the end all be all.

Hell of a nice chop bro... Smokes good, and really that's what is most important. But for good growers, testing is just a marketing tool. We still grow the bomb, regardless of any test. Peace bro!

For some people, any cuttings root...

For some people, any cuttings root...

Lol, so I know you hate cloning, so do I, it is fucking tedious boring shit...
I had some extra long branches and made 2-3 cuttings rather than just one. Not only did it root and get transplanted, but roots were popping out the stem above the cube!
Need to automate this process somehow, fucking biggest pain in my ass currently...

Miway ......I know there are variables in lab tests cuz my boys in Cali invented the Harborside Clinic , but my point was that Bobble`s shit is worthy......and...

He deserves what he receives from the hard knocks it took to get him where he`s at now .....

Lower ppm`s across the board with proper dry and cure rules the day....... bet on it.....and..

That`s from old head never seen a lab report but know what quality top shelf shit should be without it.........

Peace.....Freds.....:ying:.......
