Growing sour is not for those with a weak heart... You go 2 months without much action and start wondering if youre doing this right!
The new flowers are covered in crystal! I wish I had a better camera.

Ive been noticing that the more I lower my nutes the more i need to raise my lights. I had them really close when the ppm were high and now Ive had to raise them back to about 18"
Is this normal or are these plants just fucking with me?

I'm only on my first grow but I remember reading the Lucas formula website and I thought it had different formulas for less light...

Actually I think what Lucas said was that he gives them full strength as soon as theyre under HID's. The strength might need to be adjusted for 600W since he uses 1000W. Anything under CFL's uses less nutes. Im using 2400W though...
I think lowering the base nutes and adding the massive PK played a role. I was already getting some bleaching before.
Im still not sure how much light bleaching hurts yeild, but I think it makes it harder for the plants to put on resin and terpenes.
Im not sure I like the Mini Split without day/night temp. Its been keeping it around 72-75 day/night, but when I manually put it down to 65 with lights out it seems to increase the stank heavily.

how many bulbs 600's or 1000's?

I dont own a scale so Ill never know what the weight is on these. Any guesses? I had hoped for 6oz per plant.
These were stunted clones I picked up from a shop with 3 blade leaves, . About 1 month under T'5's and 1 month under MH conversion bulbs. Some vegged for 2 months, but I picked up more clones a couple weeks after the first batch.
There are 4x600W in there now. Theyre getting Flakes A/B+Silica+Drip Clean+ Kool Bloom Powder @about 1.4EC W/5.5-6.1 PH.
5 & 3 gal pots with EWC and some Roots Organics Coco.
Stinks like the 70's up in here

Its a cheap knockoff of a semi auto trim pro or whatever theyre called. Its just called a flower/bud trimmer. It stinks like rubber and Im affraid to use it now. Hopefully it will air off. I spent a good 20 minutes cleaning it down.
I plan to hand trim all my larger buds and let them hang dry in my grow room with the AC and dehumidifier. You cant trim dry with this unit, so the small buds need to be trimmed wet and dried out on a hanger. I threw my old rack out because I hated it and it smelled like hay! After I bought this I realized I need a rack to dry the buds!
Ive spent a lot of money on taking the work out of this. I think I would have paid any amount of money for the blumats and the hash washer though.

I followed my feed charts instructions, but replaced Shooting Powder w/KB powder and also lowered the base nutes to 1.2(as instructed) before adding the KB. That gave them a slight tip burn. so I added back some water and ended up without enough N.
I plan about 1 week more w/nutes then fade out.
I kicked up the base slightly and reduced the KB powder.

Im starting to smell it in my front yard though!

bro that trimmer is legit! i bought the same one off ebay a couple weeks ago. dont use the lawnmower looking blades!! lol. only the wire ones. leave the lid off to help with the rubber smell but ive found no negative impact on my buds from it. people were saying that it takes away some of the smell. IMO this is NOT true for me, or my strains were just so stank it didnt matter. i cant open any of my jars at home without stanking up the whole house. its saved me hours and i make good hash from the trim. i love it. your back will thank you from not being hunkered over for hours trimming lol

I think it comes from Sage n Sour x Larry. CC gear from Dr C
