nice looking show! as others are saying, those racks are a smart idea :joint:

i cant wait to see how this space fills in! happy smoking

Whats up Adrift, thanks for drifting this way. I'm at 49 days today, screen filled up nicely, not many open spots. I'll get more pics up in a few days, but you can see in the first post how cool the weed walls looks.

Nice,i got the a very similiar set up ,except i elevate one end put corrugated plastic green house siding cut a little wider then planks and catch runoff and use pico design water manifold with garbage can for res and timer water three times a day, Best crops yet...:dance013:
Its a nice design, I'm happy with it. I'm thinking the next run will be around 24 plants. Two shelves per side with 6 plants per shelf. I would like to try some sort of auto feed once I get a feel for this a bit more. Thinkin' picos drip with raised seam roofing panels (12'' wide cut to length) to catch runoff and drain into a 5 gal bucket sitting at the end of each shelf, or bluemats... gravity fed with a 5 gal res per side sitting on the top ladder of the scaffold frame. Don't know yet, still thinking.
very impressive...excellent use of the everyday...U just got my ole' brain spining
What up Yortbogey? Thanks for the visit. Check back soon for updates.

Thanks Josey. The buds on the back shelf are smaller but are filling in a bit later compared to the closer buds. For the first run, I didn't trim any lower buds, just been defoliating fan leaves as days go by. The first/lower shelf grew straight up, the second shelf grew at about a 45 degree angle, the top shelf grew at almost a 90 degree angle towards the bulbs. If the bud grew over the top of the bulb I bent the stem so they angle down to get more light penetration and just rest on the trellis netting.

its a hard thing to get light to all the rows, thats one reason i ran perpetual when i did stadium. always started my smaller plants on the bottom row and moved the bigger ones up,

Its part of the reason why I want to only do 2 shelfs per side next round. 3 shelves is also difficult to water when the canopy is so thick. I have to go down under and water from below. Your perpetual system would be good but I don't know how I can move them around with the trellis in place. Do you have trellis on yours?

I run a 3 shelve stadium and I hear you about how hard it is to water when you got 80-90 plants and HAND water...GREAT job here...I'm sorry I have not stopped by sooner your doing an awesome job..keep posting I will keep checking in on this tight grow!

Hey Mountain High, thanks for keeping at it til the scaff pics worked. Those pics sure got everybody's attention. It is a very good idea and I totally agree that 2 shelves per side would probably be the sweet spot for light penetration and ease of maintainence. Do the blumats, they are another great tool for folks like us.

Only thing about that scaff that I don't like is how freeking much cash they want for the casters...like $175 for 8... Anyway, looks awesome, stay frosty!

Thanks Megaman. Everyone says more plants = bigger yield, but I don't know that its worth it. I will have to wait to see some numbers first. I'm still gonna give a try with less, then I can compare yield to pain in the ass and weigh out the pros and cons.

Finally... you can see em'!:dance013:

I've thought about bluemats for many years, I will try them eventually.

Look on craigslist for used scaffold, its very cheap used. I couldn't find any in my area fast enough. This shit that I bought came with the casters.

How did I miss this one, those buds are getting nice and thick for that cut. She might take a bit longer for you since I was using triacontanol that grow, they aren't looking like they'll be done by 55 days like mine were. Josey Whales perpetual idea sounds like a good plan however you do that with the vines we work with lol.

no trellis, my room was 6 1/2 foot wide, 8ft long, 3 1000 hps , 4 rows on each side, 1 gl pots, plants went into flower 1ft to 16 or 18in. high, 2 weeks later i move them up a row after i chop the top row , steady process of chopping every two weeks and moving plants up and new ones in, watered with a water wand going down the middle, easy to water, had 8 plants on each row.

Thanks man. I have used pico's design on a 4x4 table and loved it. That grow was maybe my favorite grow. I loved how easy it was. I really want to design a pico manifold for this stadium.

Ya I was wondering how you cut her down at 55 days. I was gettin' confused on how I have so many white ass pistols still. They are getting fat though. I just lowered my ppm from 850 down to 725 one day and now its down to 600 ppm. A few large fan leaves have started to fade since I cut back on nutes, a good sign. No bitter taste when I chew the stems either. Never went over 1.2 EC the entire grow. Thought that was pretty good. Can't wait to see how the taste is with the PBP compared to H3ADS formula.

Good system, I did think about doin' perpetual by choppin' one side every 4-5 weeks. Doesn't really change the light distribution to the back row though. I really wanted to have two giant walls to stand right in the middle, high as mofo, and just enjoy the scenery. I love standing in the middle of the stadium high as fuck. I do look forward to that part of the day!

that works to, im doing vert screens now, 4 to 8 plants around a 1000 watter. marlos walls of weed worked well to. the only thing i dident like about stadium was having to run a clone factory to keep it supplied.
