got a pair of dps wailer 112RP's last seaon with Axl Tele bindings on them. Made the switch to tele pretty smooth. I'm wth y'all, hoping for an epic season this year. Kwood or bust!!

Hah glad to see everyone else is thinking winter too! I'm back after a rough patch of injurys and surgerys and I'm WAY overdue for a pow slash!

Just got a new board (to me) 2010 K2 Pyramid Breweries 157. It's a reverse camber mediu-stiff board. Gonna throw my Union Force SL's on there and rip it as a pow stick. What are the good park boards looking like this year? I'm looking for something I can get jibby with but still hit a good sized booter... so not a total noodle but medium-soft with some sort of revese or flat camber. I had a Burton Whammy Bar 2 seasons ago and I really liked it. I'm also game for a good regular camber board that's super soft.

Anyone riding Stevens Pass or Snoqualmie this year? PM me!

oh I just noticed the coco cutie :D . It always cool to meet girls that like skiing and toking for sure. I think I love Lindsey Dyer, lol. If you and TOH are in cali hit me up, the slopes out here are nice and the powder falls in multiple feet at a time.

nothing is better than powder skiing. it is like exercise, meditation, stress release, and endless fun all in one. then when you have friends to do it with it is even better. all my friends are back home and I live out in northern cali, so I miss that part of it.

We did Mamouth a few years ago, but the conditions were not so stellar. What spots in Cali do you recommend? I really like Brighton in Utah, and Breck in Co.......when the powder hits in Utah, it is like nothing I have ever skiied!!!! I actually got into skiing so TOH didn't always leave me in the jacuzzi at the hotel, plus I felt like a poser!!!! Now, even with my bad knee, i can hold my own on some seriously challenging slopes. Snowbird being a real challenge for me!!!! Maybe if we get out your way we can shred it up!!!!!!! Stay HIGH, it's better than being low!

^In California you have to drive but when you get there it is worth it for sure. squaw valley for awesome terrain kt-22 and the spectacle of the place. Kirkwood for crazy deep pow and cool runs. mamoth is usually pretty bad ass for pow and trees. alpine meadows is good. homewood for crazy lake views. mt rose is the highest so when it dumps it gets some of the super dry pow. heavenly is the biggest. northstar has the biggest half pipes is huge and has good tree runs if they open. Alpine meadows is a locals fav like kirkwood.

I would say kirkwood may be the best one in cali for pow hounds that like secret pow stashes, cool cliffs and some cool trees.

I would like to make it out to utah this winter as well. I hear from everyone there pow is legendary. I have skied co, nm, ca, and nv. I need to hit up utah, the pnw, jackson hole, whistler, Alaska, the alps, and south america in the summers some day if I can afford it.

god damn that's expensive. one of my passes was about 220 bucks. the other is about 400. that is access to like 4 or 5 mountains. my 650 is getting me access to like 15,000 acres of ski area and like 40 or 50 lifts.

My stomping ground was New England....learned how to ski on ice, lol!!!! Jay Peak has alot of snow...but the cold wind on the FREEZER, oops, I meant the Flyer, can really chill you to the bone!!!! TOH has ridden the Alps, he did Innsbrook, in Austria. I have skiied Perisher, in Australia, cause I lived in Sydney. I would like to do the Alps, but I dunno if that'll ever happen. I just want to get on a mountain, and lose myself in the powder.......there is nothing else like skiing through a curtain of powder, to see another brilliant run, just beckoning you...................

Breckenridge in Co, is a great spot, but my fave is Brighton, in Utah.......the powder there is.....wow, indescribeable. You simply must experience a powder day there....and there are many powder days!!! It usually isn't packed with crowds, and all you can hear are the whoops of sheer joy, as peeps keep hitting it!!!

when you folks are referring to the PNW, what exactly does that include? Oregon and washington? everybody seems segregate whistler from this area...and it seems PNW to me...just curious. Ive been to whistler, and rode blackcomb mtn...it wzs sick...been to maine, rode sugar loaf...good but not even close to whistler.
