Lumpy's Flowers - GS Cookies, Cherry Pie, OG & More!

I never heard it from ken or his people...just people I know online. That's why I asked who supposedly gave the cut to ken. Even if it is Appalachia it may have been mislabeled or an unknown clone, who knows what happened... I would like to compare the bay to Appalachia and get to the bottom of it, but I can't find any pics...

No matter who knows what or what happened I got this cut from kens crew labeled bay11 and it is the cut that won the 2011 high times cup. I will continue to call it bay11...

Hmmm, looking at the leaf structure, then seeing the buds I'd say it's damn close. I mean some pics look like it foxtailed out pretty good, then others look more rounded off, indica leaning.
This is gonna be fun....

Information came from the same circle that did the selection on that cut up in Nor Cal. Not sure how he acquired it, my friend was none to happy about it so I didn't want to ask too much further into how it came to be, etc.

Anyway, I do know one thing, Lumpy's gonna rock the hell out of it and make her sing.

I'll see if I can get any of the shots to put up here of the selection Bodhi did. He used the male in lots of his 2nd to last run, but I know he has a very special female.

A little info on my grow style. I love sea of green! So I began running coco beds years ago and it has really worked out well for me. I use 4x8 tables with a single small hole drilled on one end. The entire table gets filled with typically 7 bags of pure canna coco, sometimes 8. I plant a minimum of 50 small plants per table but my magic number is 72. The coco gets reused 3 to 5 runs and I've gone as long as 7 runs. After each run, only the rootballs are removed then all the coco and remaining roots get mixed and fluffed before replanting.

Using reverse osmosis water...or 0ppm water captured from air conditioning and dehumidification systems...

Veg nutrients:
Canna Cogr Vega a+b at 10ml/gal of each
General hydroponics calimagic calmag - 2ml/gal
Plant success orca liquid beneficial bacteria/mycorrhizae - 1ml/gal

Flower nutrients:
I continue to use the veg formula for the first 10 days of flower then switch to...
Canna Cogr Flores a+b at 10ml/gal of each
General hydroponics calimagic - 2ml/gal
Plant success orca beneficial bacteria/mycorrhizae -1ml/gal for first 30 days of flower
Cannazym -10ml/gal
After 30 days of flower I add 1/4 tsp/gal of beasties bloomz
I begin flushing with pure ro water 10-12 days before I plan to harvest...

Haha! Simple and effective. I have tried so many nutrient brands and recipes over the years but this is what I have found works best for me. Before you go buying any new product to try, make sure you got your environment in check. Temperature (air conditioning), humidity (dehumidifier), co2 (generator), airflow (fans). Get all this locked in before you start trying the new bottle of whatever :)

I aim for 40 to 50 percent humidity during flower in veg it tends to go quite a bit higher than that because I don't dehumidify at all in veg. My temps in flower are 78 at the highest point. Veg room around 80 or so. Higher temps increase plant and root growth.

lol,now bay 11 is not just green crack x og? Ken has really got to stop smoking before he labels his seeds. So far there was debate over his GDP,now the bay 11......It has not been a year yet and he's sounding more like Arjan as the year goes on! Come on KEN...set us all str8.

Gorgeous plants and pics, way to knock it outta the park Lump.

I got Bodhi's Fantasy Island seeds waiting to get popped which is Appalachia x Purple Urkle, I know 4 or 5 others that got these beans, so Hopefully out of 48-60 beans there is a stand out keeper. Forgot Self had Appalachia pics, thx for the link.

So I spoke with Ken, and are you ready for this...
The BAY11 IS the Appalachia cut, but they worked with it and added the OG. There was some secrecy surrounded that, WHY? I don't know, but I'm here first hand to tell the truth. Bodhi had a guy working with him, or High and Lonesome that later started working w/ Ken and his team creating seeds. I'm not gonna go into who that guy is, but I want to say that straight from Ken's mouth, THANKS BODHI. He wasn't trying to steal HIS strain and call it his, they did work with it as it is not PURE APPALACHIA.

I hope this helps, and doesn't creat a bunch of issues. I am the messenger, don't kill me guys!!!

Also, back n forth with Ken, I've learned that his people tend to be a little less than informative with him, even after multilpe convos and direct questioning. He is not the one who writes the descriptions, that's another fella, which then creates another issue.
To solve this, I am going to be stepping in as part of the "proofreading" dept. and preventing ANYMORE typos, mislabled packaging, anything like that from happening again.
We apologize for any confusion. At this point though, if anything it adds more value to the BAY as Bodhi's gear is highly sought after.
