Finally got through all 19 pages. I was recently given a clone of Afghani Mango. Anyone have any more info on the lineage of this? How do you think it would do in a vert SOG? How much stretch? I run a 600W donut and would like to do one wall of this because it sounds delicious. I may also be close to getting a deathstar cut.

This came to me along with a cut of G13xNL and (Kandy Kush/Candy/Candy Kush??). Again I'm not sure if there were from seedstock or some other ohio genetics I'm unaware of. Any info on those would be appreciated. Both can be seen flowering in my 600W grow in my sig.

I've run both the AM and the Candy (just Candy). I don't know much about the lineage of the AM, but it seems like it could be Afghani Haze x Mango Haze (Mr. Nice Seeds). I always loved that plant, but let it go a while back....might give it another run soon though. Grows SPEARS as long as your arm and has a deep rich flavor with an awesome high. I'm obviously a fan lol.

The Candy has been around since at least 2001, as far as I know. I had some friends back then in SE OH who were running it and it spread out from there, as far as I know. I've heard there was a strain out of Southern Indiana called "Candy Corn" that's been around since the 80s but I really think it's either Dutch Flowers Candy Haze or Mighty Candy Haze. I've also heard people say it is really Cotton Candy but who knows. Most definitely not Kandy Kush though. Smells like skittles....really wonderful smell.

Hope they turn out well for you. :)

Yup that looks exactly like the Candy I have growing. When dry the buds are covered in deep red hairs and are medium to high density. Basically between the rock hard dstar nugs and airy lemon g ones. Could you give approx finishing times for both of those?

Candy 8-10 weeks. Later is better IMO. She seems to swell up after 9 weeks.

Afghani Mango 10-11 weeks. You could pull it earlier and it would still be good, just not as good as it could be.

organic_fanatic, thanks for all the info. the dstar I got just showed roots so I am very happy. Honestly though I am more excited about the AM. dstar is just too narcotic for my tastes unless I need some real pain relief or cannot sleep.

I appreciate the info on the candy as well. Enjoying the flavor and relaxing high. Although I am noticing that smoking too much can leave me relaxed almost to the point of apathy.

Nothing on the G13xNL? I mean the name has all the info I really need just not sure if you have stumbled across it or what makes this cut special. Has a very musky smell so far, pungent.

thanks again

G13xNL is the supposed lineage of Dumpster, though if you had Dumpster, no one would just call it 'G13xNL'. Expect resinous flowers and a heavy stone from your cross.

death star aka hong kong (same cross diff breeder)
i feel like there was another alias for the same cross several years back in CO....

def been in and around colorado for around ten years now, as far as i knew it was a CO strain (not trying to step on any OH toes, just what I thought i knew.)

i grew it in denver and always thought it was more sweet than sour, (maybe crossed w NYCD not the ECSD?) either way , the cut i had def was heavy on the sensi star.

I think you're talking about Bio-Diesel. Same genetics (SD x SS) but different parent plants were used, obviously.

Here is a day 61 deathstar in a 20 gallon pot, all organic. This is my first round with her, she doesn't like to heavy of feedings I learned. At this point she is fruity but getting more of a pungent smell by the day. Shes a little beat up bud the bud production is looking nice.

Thought I'd post up some Death star shots from my last harvest since I've read this thread so many time for reference. I'm doing a grow log on my second run with her over in the grow diaries forum. Potency is out of this world, too much for me honestly.

Hey guys its been a while. I have a question for anyone who has smoked the real deathstar...Have you ever had anything stronger? As far as the narcotic buzz goes? Just curious..

The jedi's keep to themselves in vegas super hard cuts to get

(Cough) super easy cut to get..you just got to know the right peeps.

Going to run Deathstar in my personal indoor 3200 w vert room....then bring it into the 6k greenhouse if that works out. heard nothing but good things about it and I really don't care where it came from to be honest!

Herijuana from ****** - especially if you get the right phenotype with the right THC profile (great line but not as stable as I would have thought) - Pineapple Kush has a hell of a knockout to it - not as euphoric though. Petrolia Headstash outdoor is probably the closest thing to the euphoric aspect of DS to me.

Just my observations.. Only been smokin DS since around 03'-04' - hahaha - It's crazy that 10 years have already gone by since I first saw it, a true beauty, especially when it first came on the scene..
