Wow, puna. I'm all ears to hear more about those Hawaiian genetics. I live in an area that is just about as close to mimicking Hawaii as one can get...but there will always be something about the photoperiod, light levels, soil conditions, breeze and plain old Hawaiian vibes that make old school Hawaiian cannabis stand out.

I've got a healthy seed collection, no doubt. The rarest are most likely my Afropips Malawi and perhaps Reservoir seeds Apollo Mist and Orange Apollo. Also BSC Zamal stands out and a couple hybrids since Luiz is no longer providing these.

Would love to try my hand at an old school Hawaiian sativa...

Ok well here is some info on what i have....

1. "The Pink" (Maui) '82 Sativa/Indica Blend: Phenos could lean blended or both ways indica or sativa. Taste/smell: sweet and fruity

2. "Puna Hash Plant" (Big Island) '79 very indica dom taste/smell: sweet, or rich hashy

3." Pa'ia town" (Maui) '80 Sativa/indica taste/smell: sweet fruity

4."Molokai Hash" (Molokai) '81 Mostly indica, sativa traits expressed in leaves at times... Sweet fruity, hashy

5."Papaikou Mill" (Big Island) '78 sativa/indica taste/smell: sweet lemon zest. citrus

6."Hawaiian Skunk" (Maui) '78 *No relation to any hawaiian skunks on the internet.* (The true "Hawaiian Skunk") Sativa dom/ blend and at times indica leaning phenos show. Genetics unknown: could be sativa dom skunk import or Old timers growers that grew this strain on maui. say that it was a strain created in hawaii and resemble trait of the skunk strain. Thus tagging it skunk. (dont know and dont care, no matter what way truley is good skunk!)

I made a repro on 5 Molokaï Frost freebies from Motarebel... 3 females, the smell is cherry-gum/pine on 2 phenos, and only cherry-gum on the last... really pleasant...

The Papaikou Mill seems to be great... I like the citrus aroma...

Hey bud, I was wondering if you tried, or even have nightshade, or pakistan valley, as these, are my babies, I have afgan kush too as well as couple others not as strong but well to have for daytime smoke, and have a list of some other 10 strains, as I am trying for the best private stash collection, all indica, or dom is what tickles me, sative I blow thru no matter how great, love the taste but need a downer as I suffer from SEVER PTSD and I am a big guy, ex football, and cage fighting got to just not twist heads off when someone steps on my foot ya know lol

No not that monster I used to be but need the good stuff to take the hulk off my shoulder. I was so impressed with purple citral, and her lovely looks, but purples are not that lay down type, but I could be wrong. This is why I ask, you seem to be like me and Love the landrace, but this area is not going to be around long, so it doubles as having anything from the region. Do you have any sudjestions on what could keep me from turning green, by smokin green?

I figured I got some good strains as a foundation to start breeding, but still need to know if something is stronger. I have smoked some good outdoor mango kush, still lookin for my prick in the dirt, but I still think some OGs are as good. My current list has mk ultra, sweet tooth, mapleleaf, skywalker OG, Larry OG(I smoked its a 10), I had aurora, and papaya but they never sprouted, so I am iffy on getting those again. Thanks bro for any info you could give, I injoy making my guest pass out when they come over, they get so pissed, he he!

Would love to hear more about growth patterns and effects of these as well. The sativa leaning strains sound like gems.

Hey man, seems your a Sweet tooth guy, as I am night shade. I just wanted to know hows the couch lock, locking for couch lock strains, collecting my indicas, and the tooth was on the next bean list. Ive smoked out of just bout every area sepp over seas, but in nor cal I smoked soe great OGs and some bunk never should be called og before. Ive smoked some unreal purple stuff in the bag looked like rezin from a pipe in canada, stuff was grown in Alaska.

My most recent encounters of some real fire, and this is strickly growers, as I worked in the shop, and same stuff failed. Mango kush outdoor had got me pretty good, and a pinner joint of some Larry Og matter of fact it was half cuz I noticed bout 20 mins later after first few hits it went out, and I was still holding it, yeah it surprised me as it was just a gram to try cuz the club had nothing new, and I had regret not getting more.

The tooth is kinda a tie for me between MKultra, decided to get both. Thanks for any info you could give me bro, this is a cool thread, lots of strains I have never heard of, need some research now.

Hey man did you breed night shade? I have the barneys strain, and it was a very good pick for me, I had got pakistan valley, and they are compairble in high, but shade looks more frosty, and yeah in cold wether she has peurple hues. If you did breed her did it become more stronger?
