all the d-trains seem homogeneous. there is one runt that i havent decided to cull yet that may be outgrowing her little mutations...time will tell...i am hoping for 4-5femals to choose from. i will prolly keep 3 and train heavily....

the 24hrs with the 400MH made all the difference in the world. its running 24/7 right now.

what about 18/6? will that just retard the growth?

bought tomato cages. using ware cutters down to one ring. it will about 12 inched above soil. this will allow me to give each cola some room.

also, will most likely be purchasing an RO filter bc i just found out my cities tap contains chloramine. i have heard you can put compost in it but i dont have access to compost i trust.

someone also mentioned chicken broth but i havent heard more about the method. how much, what kind, etc

movin right along. they are bathing under the 400mh and starting to drink more/more water

Keep in mind, when you hook up an RO filter, you're going to be ending up with water sans any micros.. Not sure if that's the word, but trace metals, all that good shit in the water.

What about just installing an in-line water filter? For one, that oughtta leave you with some of the in-water goodies you actually want, and for B, you'll save a fortune on a) the setup and b) the actual water itself. Typically the RO will cost you 2:1, 3:1 in terms of waste:finished "good" water.

you are right, i am looking into an in-line filter...a true RO would be ideal but i dont have the structures in place to make it work. things are starting to take off

Just checkin things out in here. Loooking good

stay tuned, gonna be topping a few in the next couple of days. everything is moving right along

after a couple days i will topping each leader for four (4) tops....when those recover, i will top again for 8 tops total. all symmetrical with even energy distribution. i hope this allows me to keep a super even canopy and to have 8 donkey dick colas...this is all new to me and i am learning and experimenting as i go...

i am following nugbuckets thread and he is helping me through this. i truly believe this is going to be a great method of growing for me....with limited space, this is going to allow me to maximize my grows. i also have limited veritical space...i dont think my 3x3 tent will allow me to keep more than 4 (5) gallon geopots but we will see...i am hoping i can fit 5 or 6

So the tea's been cookin' for 24 hours, then you added those, and will be bubbling for another 24?

Why the guano in the tea (vs a top/side dress)?

Seedlings are lookin good dude :good:

no, i have been bubbling plain tap water for 24hrs...then i added the amendments and will bubble another 24hrs....

i decided to put some guano (list dose) in the tea to give them a light dose of nutes...green em up a little and let them recover from the shock of topping...

i will be applying this time tomorrow....letting the tea do its thing in the basement

should i add some cal/mag? this damn FFOF is crap. i just soaked them with some guano, ewc, molasses.... i know EWC has mag in it...but that is more of a slow absorption

I'd just give 'em some epsom salts fer the mag, and a top dress or waterin' with some glacial rock dust.

For my heavy artillery lately, I've been using SeaCal (and always the glacial rock dust, sometimes the epsom)

hey just checking in things are looking excellent for you other than you cal/mag def which im sure you'll be able to fix. How's your ph? You're not locking out are you? Are you measuring your run off?

Here's a look at my blue widow 12 days from the original germ date.
