Yea, you guys could drive out here to get it, but all that means is we got it, made it, and brought it to the market. So even when you drive all the way to cali to get the "new" elite cut, that just means somebody has been working with that cut for must likely years if they are a true breeder.

That is not to say things don't go both ways. Shit I live in cali and order seeds from overseas.

and its more than likely that ogkush was first grown in a state other than california... seems like the consensus is florida. but dont flame me for that

I'm sure utmost respect is given to the breeder of genetics, when people fall in love with it, regardless of where they live.

Why not focus on our love for cannabis and the reason why we prefer certain strains so much. It does get around - but usually if someone is working on a breeding project, they hold it tight until they feel it is ready to release, if they are serious about it. So it's not that wide spread in the top circles either, until it starts getting out.

Of course people with personal connections to the actual breeders is a different story altogether and allows access into things held tightly - probably not well spread around.

It's just a plant. No need to get menstrual about who has what or where certain strains originated from. It's a moot argument.

My perspective is: I was always lucky that when I started growing I already knew connected people, and even luckier to be born where I am, BUT that in no way entitles me to act like some chode who's better than then next person. Even if I can grow better or have access to better genes than the next guy, that means nada in the game if you burn your bridges.
