Given the choice, which MMJ state would you live in?

I'll be able to leave Texas in the not-so-distant future, and I want a fresh start in a different state. Colorado, Oregon, and Washington are at the top of my list, but I'd like to hear others opinions on what areas are nice and the quality of life in other places.

The things I'm most concerned with are:
Work Opportunities
Cost of Living
Land/Housing prices
Culture/Quality of citizens
Crime
Quality/price of MMJ
Local cuisine
General quality of life

Oregon, or new mexico, wes coast has more shops, and what not, but who knows for how long. New mex is probably best but no shops, maybe it will grow, maybe not, it sucks on selection as I am in the same debate. Good luck

I live in the Front Range of CO.

Work Opportunities - depends on what you do, construction is doing well right now
Cost of Living cheaper than the coasts
Land/Housing prices cheaper than the coasts
Culture/Quality of citizens Denver/Fort Collins/Boulder are full of young single, outdoorsy people there is non-stop concerts even in the winter.
Crime Denver is not as bad as similar sized towns, the mountains have little crime, pay to stay away from crime like anywhere else
Quality/price of MMJ If the west Coast gets an A+ for quality, we get a solid A or A- (You can find A+ if you know the right people) I'm sure it is like CA in many ways, some dispensaries suck, some are amazing. You can get ounces of very good quality for $175 or so. 1/8ths go for between $25-$40
Local cuisine meh, Colorado is still recovering from being a steak and taters kinda state
General quality of life 300 days of sunshine a year, I can hop in the car and be fly fishing in 20 minutes, tons of stuff to do...

pm if you want

Colorado certainly seems to have some of the highest quality plus the only state that has MMJ in it's constitution. Added bonus if you like to ski/snowboard, plus extra bonus for ski/snowboard bunnies.

Montana seems nice too, not too sure about the availability of jobs and the culture up in Montana seems to be changing.

Not true for this part. Nevada was one of the first state to approve it as a Constitutional amendment when approved by its citizens after 2 vote cycles. Other than that, NV would definitely not be a first, second, or third choice to move to for mmj if you're planning to move and have a choice.

Michigans mms laws are constitutional as well.

I live in Colorado. I like it here, it's way better than the Midwest and very beautiful. But it's nothing special compared to the West Coast. People hype it up too much IMO. If you're not obsessed with skiing or snowboarding then the coast is better in almost every way.

I enjoy Southern California immensely. Specifically San Diego. Get yourself a kayak and you can fish open waters in the Pacific Ocean every fuggin' day 365 amidst great white sharks and all kinda amazing sea creatures.

Problem is, Socal culture is the anus of society in terms of materialism and douchebags. I'd say LA County has more scum per capita than anywhere in Western Civilization, not a joke at all. If a guy isn't a "ufc 4 lyfe brahh u lookin at me brah wanna dance brah?" he's some sick fuck mexican cartel associate or the spawn of Hollywood Jew money...there's like, 11 cool people in the entire area. You get the idea..

But if you can find a little enclave of cool people and just enjoy the land for what it is, So Cal is unbeatable for my tastes.

Problem is, that shit isn't a secret. Pretty much everyone else agrees deep down, and the cost of living reflects that. I've searched the country for the perfect place that no one knows about, shit doesn't exist. You're gonna have to pay to play..

Ahh... the No Garden State.

NJ's fun to visit occasionally, but I absolutely hate Jersey. Jersey would be awesome if you didn't have the Jersey shore people living there and if the laws and politicians were freedom loving and not so corrupt.

I didn't know that. I just knew that CO had constitutional MMJ.

Thanks for the clarification. I remember hearing that CO was constitutional MMJ, and assumed it was the only (when it's more like on of the few) that had the law this way.

If my state had MMJ laws I'd say my state was the best.

Lol, if TX did I would just settle in the hill country somewhere. I like it here, but I like personal freedoms/liberties more

Colorado seems like it's my best option, because it's still close enough to roadtrip home to see the folks. Any good areas? Fort collins or boulder seem nice enough, not looking to stay in any major metropolitan areas, although being in commute distance would be nice. Something moderately rural, but with all the commodoties of everyday life within reasonable distance
