quick back from vacation update...had a blast but now its a bitch gettin back in cruise control....after about 10 days gone i came home to see tht i have mites...they devoured a blockhead plant that was in flower,and luckily for me it seems that one is a mite magnet.all the newest in flower were effected,veg as well but not too bad in there compared to flower.luckily the jack the rippers were finished up and had pretty much no damage at all.
i nuked w avid as soon as i saw them,i know ill be dealing w them once a mont for the next few months before i get them totally eradicated but this aint my 1st rodeo so im not gonna let it stress me too bad until i need to.ive been thinking about trashing the mixed group in flower but i think im gonna give them a couple weeks and see if they snap into gear for me....i didnt take pics of the mite damage yet,i should have took one of the blockhead but i was busy spraying them....if u would have seen it it would have made u cringe,has me trippin just because i know the battle im in for w these bastards....fuckin hangin my head in shame over here,nothing makes u feel like an inadequate grower then something like mites in ur room.especially after leaving the grow for over a week to vacation,shit sucks to come home to yo.
on a better note,i have a second 24k btu a/c im getting ready to install,idk f ill run them both,i think w better venting for the heat from 1 i can cool my room w just one,but i figure a brand new one wont hurt,and one on deck is never a bad ideaa ya know.
also like i said,the jtr were done,got some pics of the fruits of my labor,i think i couldve done better if the heatwave hadnt hit so hard,had to turn a few lights off for a few days during the 100+ degree temps...still not too bad.this is 25 of them,took about 9 hours to trim,gotta love the trimpro rotor...you can see thats a second rubbermaid that has buds in it still.
