I would think people would realize registration is just putting your self on a list to be fucked eventually when ever the plan is ready.

If you want to eliminate medical marijuana, from the federal standpoint, its a very simple process of busting doctors who recommend marijuana.

In Cali, how many doctors do you think actually write recommendations? 5000? 10000? How many grows does C.A.M.P. bust or how many clubs get raided? If you cut off the supply line, you get rid of MMJ.

Why don't they do it? I'll tell you why: 1) They don't have the man-power 2) They wouldn't have jobs and fancy new Helicopters/guns/cars/anything they want 3) They wouldn't be able to be crooked and steal herb to sell/get paid off to allow certain people to grow/sell.

MMJ isn't going anywhere unless the state that approved it gets rid of the system. Simple, end, period.

Well looks like the party is over. With the courts blessing fed run healthcare is here. Now what does that mean for MMJ? Well if the past court rulings are any indication, it means the end of mmj. Why do I say this you ask. It has been established several times in that the Feds position of mmj having "no medical value" is supreme. Your employer can still fire you if are a mmj patient. You can't have a CdL if you are MMJ. The logical situation shoul follow that if the Feds now run healthcare and according to them there is no such thing as MMJ, that they will either deny you care or deny you MMJ.

I would love to Hear from the naieve who think this isn't a certainty.

The federal government is not running our healthcare, they are guaranteeing to insurance companies customers; i.e. US. That means that they're guaranteeing the insurance companies a profit through us and by threat of fine or jail.

The issue with Obamacare is specifically that it ENSURES that the 'for profit' healthcare model not only remains well entrenched, but becomes further so. It guarantees more 'administrative' costs, both for the insurers, and for the government (bureaucracy, yay!).

I'm currently embroiled in a battle for treatment through our new provider, Kaiser-Permanente, and the situation has quickly degraded to the point where I KNOW I'm going to have to DIY my healthcare. Doesn't sound so bad, until you realize that we're forced to pay for this fucking 'coverage.'

I have refused and still flat out refuse to get my MMJ state ID card. It has never guaranteed protection of arrest, it puts me directly on the radar, USED to force me to agree to a plant limit (still does technically, til my county board of supervisors interfered) that no longer applies if I'm cultivating outdoors.

Not to mention, it's another $200 on top of what I have to pay to get my rec and cultivate in the first place. Fuck that.

I've seen what happened to a few members here from Maine and RI who were on the list...A nice DEA visit and a legal mess.I'll see you guys in the church basements when we have our prostate surgeries on the govts bill...Since the installation of state healthcare in Mass, I've seen my reg Dr's hair go from blond to straight out grey, they force a huge patient load on these Dr's, plus every scumbag in the state with bad toenails.Pay cash and see an internist, the ER's here are like nothing I've ever seen, zombies dude.I've been forced to go onto state care after a 6yr civil suit that took every dollar I ever had or didn't...As soon as I can swing it I'll pay for private care if possible, its about 2k a month for me x 5.All of ya'll have 10k a month to spend so you have a decent Dr??? Oh yeah my reg Dr calls weed the "anti-prozac" my pain Dr calls it a godsend and is a member of Norml...

I could care less about ratings but I am sure as fuck confounded as to how this couldn't potentially help those oblivious to the problematic dynamics of the nations health care system. If you already know the below material why are you even rating? it doesn't mean it isn't helpful for others who need to know about this problem. So lets hear from you super judge, or you going to hide like a good little troll?

We must do whatever it takes to get private care while we fight to undo this BS.
We must seek and support the small private practices who are still fighting against Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and record centralization.
Find the doctors who are vehemently against disclosing patients EMR to the feds and totalitarian centralization.
I realize now I've been too passive and don't sufficiently understand healthcare, so I'm racing to get it down within the next month- adapt to survive.
Meanwhile I can say stay away from the practices belonging to big HC networks who shit on hippa by sharing your med 'data', pushing for centralized records, and experimenting on you for the big pharma. FUCK centralized EMR and mass HC "Groups". Avoid these "quantitative" profit driven practices pushing centralization of patient records.
Find independent "qualitative" model care physicians instead and please share them with your community, I know I'm searching for them every day, nation wide. We are all in this sinking ship.

Most other states are not as unregulated as California. some such as the one i I live In actually you get your card from the DMV. my mmj car is identical to my drivers liscence. lol I know how you feel. if some one is gonna give me bad karma at least tell me to my face. I would much rather someone get in my face than do something passive agressive. then at least I can try to find common ground or at least prevent further dumb beef with people.
