250 seeds? Yoou can plant almost anything and find a keeper or two... y not go for the variety and pick up different packs. Then u will have it all good smoke and something no one has

my thought process on this was

phase 1) pick the best possible strain
phase 2) pick the best possible example of that strain
phase 3) monocrop that

precisely my plan. sex them sometime during my june-august cycle just to cull males, select for bag appeal during my august-october cycle, and then do the final selection for all the finer points an yield during my october-december cycle.

assuming i find something i'm really stoked with, i'd be able to monocrop that to ring in the new year!

and yeah i know what you mean about the first bit, and i know that is very important, but i also want to be very sure of the stock i am starting with.

although part of me wants to say fuck it and get the most wildly variable thing like some random pollen chucker's F2s or some nirvana gear. if the price is right i could pop 250 of something and the variation might work in my favor.

sounds like a good plan , i think you have to have a direction in mind though if im honest , maybe narrow it down to a few select lines to explore , lines that are popular and sell well in your area , lines that have good reviews , and you know if you find a few good ones you can earn off of , you should do a big grow diary of it that would make for some good viewing

Cash croppper usually implies they have a large yield. None of those are known to be huge yielders. I just finished a few OTM's they are far from being cash croppers.

if you are comparing to critical mass its kinda hard. since tat thing produce alot.
It wont yield as much as CM but i know some TGA genetics i can recommend for you.

Its prolly what you want anywayz. No OG genetics. Smells good nd frosty as well. Very well respected breeder/grower (Subcool is) IMO even though some ppl in icmag dont really like him w/e.

well the list goes like this.

JACK THE RIPPER (this one is really well documented by subcool. just look on youtube. rollitup. or tga genetics)
AGENT ORANGE (Nice yielder. Not a couchlock prolly 10~11 wk)
CHERNOBYL (this one is not a good yielder but dam its frosty 8~9 weeks)
QRAZY TRAIN (nice purple good yielder. QUERKLE x TrainWreck ( 9~10 weeks AKA TGA BLOOD WRECK)
Cheese Quake (a dude told me this is one of the best shit he smoked and yields havenet seen it personally)
KABOOM (havent grown this one. suppose to b bomb ass yielder may b look into it?)

hope this helps bro. You prolly dont want Cali connection or DNA becuz most of their stuff has OG in it some way or another.

O also try Shark Shock from Mr.Nice. AMAZING yielder it yielded as much as CM when i was doing side by side. There was one pheno i would like to call WHITE SKUNK. Skunk like structure with White Widow like frost that was done in 9 weeks from seed. I got another pack of it to look for this one. its really nice.

have you looked into Connoisseur Genetics ? Ive ran gear from DnA, TGA, and Caliconnect and would recommend Connoisseur Genetics over them. DnA and Caliconnect were not all that. TGA definitly has there own thing going on, but all his crossess are Space Queen crosses not that there is anything wrong with that. If I was you Id private message truecannablis of Connoisseur or post in there forum what your looking for and they will take care of you.

Doing too many seeds along with all the documentation is a year-long Nightmare..!!

Shouldn;t need to run 100 seeds to find something special and unique...
And you would get a few repeating phenotypes, which is not helpful. Running all of them and cloning.. etc.. Kind of a waste..

Not that it is always easy to find a complete winner, but I would think 4 or 5 packs of anything good will produce something that will serve as your "Signature Strain," and make you a Rockstar..

A buddy off mine had a freebie "pinapple punch" from Barneys last fall and he grew it out indoors. It was damn good smoke with a knockout stone, sweet pinappley taste and a friggin branch breaker yeild.

Because of its quality, i bought a 10 pack of the femmed and have them growing outdoors as we speak. Theyre all pretty much alike and just huge. I can tell they are going to yeild big. More than Critical mass simply becuase theyre so much bigger.

55 days and some damn damn good commercial smoke. Far better than Cm which in my opinion has always been mediocre at best as are its crosses.

i have an old sharksbreath cut. heavy stone with some head. high yielder although goes 10-12 weeks.
ive have a few 'elites' through the door over the last couple of years and kept my sharksbreath cut over most of them.
but this cut goes back to when they were doing regular seeds so maybe the fem stock is not so good.

I think if u popped a 100 beans of different shit it would take hell long before you found a keeper. Last year I popped 10 beans from CC Larry OG. and finally Found a keeper. Super fire, Nice fat hardball Nuggz. With NO larf! And this OG blows everything away in my city. It yields great too, I pulled 3p's off of 2,000watts.
You gotta grow what the people want. Right now its OG.
Look into the Larry you can pull in 8 weeks too. And its crazy FROSTY
