Bobble glad to have you back buddy. Sorry to hear about all the drama, but sometimes thats just what we need to bring things back into perspective. Honestly your post is serving as a reminder I need to slow down and reorganize my own priorities. I've been trying to force things lately, even though I know this will just bring me trouble. Anyway looking forward to new updates :good:.

Well to late DHF. I dunked all my veg plants tonight like Bobble said. Will hit the clone room tomorrow. Nothing like taking 32 inch plants in five gallon pots and dunking till the bubbling stops then lifting till all the water drains out. I lost some where around 12 gallons of solution in the pots after dunking. Took me several hours.

I have been putting DE on my pot tops. I think it was not working because they were getting into the pots on the bottom. This is also why I didn't feel like the dunks were working as well. I put them on for about four months with no sucess.

So tomorrow when I dunk the clone room plants I will again top dress with the dunks, and fresh DE. I will win they are just stupid little bugs dang nab it.

I am pulling for you Bobble if you need something let me know.

Bobble I feel ya on the psychotic shit. At least you realize it and handle it. I do to and it just goes along with this game. Keep ur head up and push forward. Your doing great man.I can tell you I'd much rather have that good job again then be doing this but there are no fucking jobs! And I have a family to take care of so.....

As far as dropping prices I think its all about the area. Around me they're a little tight but Most of what they have all looks the same. But when I see an Elite strain they charge up the ass.Keep your line up Dank and Elite and the prices will hold steady. Shit the way things are going here the republicans will fuck our mmj law and force it all underground again. Prices will go up! Schuette is a bone head.

The DE is to kill the adults climbin up and through the medium and turn into fliers Icky....and....guaranteed ....

Your skeeter dunks were old and I apologize for not ever lettin folks be more aware of the old gnatrol shit has a shelf life....but....

I had 1 infestation of fungus gnats in bales of coco that survived hydration with SM-90 , 5 ml Cal/Mag Plus , 1/4 strength juice ........ and ......

I paniced when I saw shit in my laboratory conditions I`d never seen before , so I ran to Lowe`s in town and they were puttin em out on the hangers and I bought like 10 cards of them bitches and went ta crumblin on each sp and water it in.....and....

Got lucky....The fliers got stuck to the yellow sticky traps and the BTI killed the rest....graveyard dead.....anyways.....

Hope yas get thing`s sorted IC......

Bobbles....Gotcher back Bro....Freds....:ying:.....

I have been fighting these since last summer. Every time I get a little yellow to the leaves or see some in the air I have been doing a 15ml per gallon drench. I think my problem is that I have not been treating the clone room. I was afraid that I would burn the roots. So then I just reintroduce them to the veg room. Once in the veg room I treated them. This made sure that only a few made it to the flower room. Well today I went in and dunked all the clone room plants and yesterday all the veg plants as well. I will dunk in a week when all the ones in the air have died again. Hopefully this will clean it up.

I had been putting the dunks on but thought that the Bayer was killing the nematodes in the dunks so I stopped.

I am not sure how to put the DE at the drain hole on the bottom of the pots, so for now it is just on the tops. I see the adults going to the drain holes on the bottom. I thought that I would dunk the entire pot thinking that the drench from the top was not reaching the bottom drain hole area.

I am fortunate enough that I have not had any real big losses from the nats yet. More just a pest that is annoying as all get up. I plan on moving my grow latter this summer and will just bring bare root clones with me in order to keep the nats out. I have had mites twice in the last 9 months and got rid of them, but I can't get rid of the nats lol.

Well I guess I should stop high jacking Bobbles thread.

Thanks guys for the insight.:tiphat:

The DE has to be dry to cut and up and kill.

Gnatrol FTW. Fungus gants make me think of Pro-Mix days. Get the Gnatrol WDG. You can find small containers online. It will not hurt clone roots. You must repeat drenches to kill both adults and larvae.

Chalk the extra week up to my personal issues... I swear lately I've been going through psychotic episodes every other month... I've had a lot of personal growth lately, priorities rearranged...

I really didn't hit rock bottom until after surgery, and I got to sit on my ass on my medical vacation and reflect on where my life is headed. I came into this thinking I was going to be making $200k a year once I got it all sorted... and granted that's still a possibility... but how bad do I want it? It's a lot of work, and with the price per lb dropping daily it seems, those wide eyed fantasies are fading fast.

All along I've said I'm not a career grower... but I will have my loans and my house paid for before I quit, that's for damn sure. That's a more realistic goal to have, the rest is gravy... So far nobody has been able to catch up with Heath, right? A lot of guys showing up, and then dropping off lately from what I've seen. I haven't lost sight of that goal, I can promise you that.

The shoulder still hurts a little... but I'm not in excruciating pain anymore, I'm just not nearly as strong as I used to be. I'm taking it one day at a time. I needed the change in pace. Like you had said, I was trying to force things... and if I just stay calm and do the right things, everything will fall into place... and I won't have to force anything. I just haven't been thinking clearly for a while now. I'm still a bit more psychotic than normal... but I'm getting back to basics. When I can do more than a few pushups and I can lift this 20lb dumbbell more easily, I'll get a new gym membership. I'm gonna spend some time to prep my coco and clean my bags so that my clean rooms will still that way... Cause I'm really screwing myself not taking the extra time in the beginning.

Anyway, I'm back. :huggg:

"What doesn't kill us...only makes us stronger" and "We only fail...if we fail to try"...your my hero bro...I walk in your shadow.

lol... I definitely feel the love, thanks guys! :D

The past couple months have just been rough... I started out with great momentum, and then I had to have surgery and everything just kept getting worse... I was starting to doubt myself. It took a minute, but I've got my head back on straight, and I have the pics to prove it...

This was my pile of USD that got chopped... not much, maybe 1lb. 1lb a month pays the bills, so I'm not complaining, especially when the harvests are just going to keep getting bigger.

These are the Sour Amnesia I have 6 weeks in flower... They didn't stretch much in part b/c of problems early on, and b/c the pheno just doesn't stretch a lot. I only need 2oz a plant to get to 1lb... That should be achievable stll...

This is bobblehead overtakes though... Not bobblehead grows with mediocre yields...

So I got one of my rack rooms reloaded after I took out the old feed system and got the new feed line snaked through 3 levels... The plants are a little yellow from overwatering in the flooded posts... I need to get the pots elevated so they drain better. I'm going to be moving the veg to a bigger room so I'll make the changes next week... I'm also thinking that I'll change to top fed b/c I had better growth that way than with flood and drain.

This plant on the right is the roughest looking plant in the garden... So it's gone. It's a HOL Sugar Cane Train and she's just not very vigorous.

The small plants are MAT x ChemD

I have a lot of trimming to do still in this room... So I'll take more pics after that. I have soooo many strains... Other new ones include Reclining Buddha, Sour Diesel x NL, Chem D x NL, HOL Casey's Queen, Chem D x Grape Skunk, Headband... I can't remember them all.

For my blumat reservoirs... I had to put a lot of thought into this... b/c I have tried 5gal bucket, 27gal tough boxes... I had thought about putting those in the ceiling, but then I had to run tubing to feed and drain them back to the main res... And it was becoming a headache. I sat down, and realized I had 2 55gal drums in the garage, and they only cost me $10 each... So off to Home Depot I went to get some cinder blocks and the rest is a wrap...
picture.php

I have 1 500gph pump in each 330g ICB tank constantly feeding each of the 55g drums through 1/2" tubing, and the passive 3/4" return lines going back to the main res, taking air with them. You can hear the sucking noise being why I mention it... I kinda have to laugh... b/c my elevated res is bigger than most growers main res... I guess I'm back to overtaking... :smokey: My only regret with the blumats is not getting them sooner. They're so much easier than a timed feed system! Fuck guessing how much the plants are going to drink. My feed system runs off 1 500gph pump! That's it! I've eliminated timers and extra recirculating pumps. Blumats FTW!

Hey Shcrews... Tell me about it bro... IDK how the harvest is gonna burn with all those different strains... I'll just have to do my best to keep them all happy. cinder blocks = K.I.S.S. and I'm not scared that the 55g drums are going to come crashing down... ha ha

You'll love the USD bro... She can be finicky, and doesn't turn out very nice if you mess up bad.. but treat her nice and you'll get good yields with potency to boot!

I just wanted to add that I've also figured out my time management problem. Sometimes I'm overloaded with work and I'll be up north for 2 days straight working 12hr days and not be able to move on the 3rd day... lol other times I can pop in for a few hours and head home. My solution is to fill the pots before the plants are ever even ready to be transplanted. Potting takes me the longest amount of time next to trimming. I picked up 2 54g rubbermaids to treat my coco... and I'm probably going to need 2-4 more. Anyway, I started hydrating my coco with Bayer Tree and Shrub. The bags get soaked in Eagle-20 so that mold doesn't grow on them. There are beneficial fungus, so I didn't want to soak the coco in Eagle-20. Anyway, I cleaned up the garage, and I have 1 rubbermaid full of freshly treated coco and perlite, and another with the pots with the rootball still in them from the USD harvest, with Bayer and enzymes just soaking... Next week I'll start filling up pots with all that coco, and I'll repeat every week so that the next time I have to transplant, the bags will be ready and bug/mold free. The little things make a huge difference... I am DONE with stupid bug problems that can be prevented.

Another thing DHF... is that I'm understanding now that you took the time to have everything in place... IDK if that took you 1-2 months or w/e... and then you brought the plants in. Hell, you could have built everything, and then filled up the veg AND a flip room b/c you had the other locations... My situation is different, I moved in a rush b/c of a security issue, and I'm growing in a construction zone... lol I'm looking to remedy this, and I'm almost there... but I get it now. That's all I wanted to say.

Good Point I need to start timing myself as well. I use to time every thing I did. When I did a lot of construction that is. Use to be able to do what a three man crew could do by myself when I did that. Couple seconds here and there can really add up.
