Need some guidance from my NE family.
My misses sister, who has become like a sister, to me, has a 16 yr old who is now physically stronger than she is, and he knows it. No dad around.
During an argument, she wound up hurt on the floor.
Now, back in my day, had I done something like that to my Mom, a FIRST CLASS ASS KICKIN' would be coming my way, (prolly more than one) AND I WOULD HAVE DESERVED IT!
I think a bit of that is in order, far from what I would have received, but times have changed.
Am I suppose to just let this go?!?!
To be honest, I am having a hard time doing so.
Opinions please.

Nope.. it's domestic abuse and should not be tolerated. I am not at all adverse to reporting this type of activity to authorities.. if it escalates, he could even kill her.. it's a sad thing.. but if he does it to his mother, he'll end out doing it to his wife.. this is a very serious matter and needs to be addressed as such.

HYF, i agree. he might just need you to scare the shit out of him, for him to realize that what he did is wrong.. some people learn the hard way. its a lesson this kid needs. that is completely wrong to do to your mother, totally disrespectful and something needs to be done before it gets worse.

He is the type of kid who could use a tune up. He is 16, not 6.

Any of you guys use or have experience with the SpinPro trimmers that look like a couple salad bowls with a crank handle on top.. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.. if you do, how do they work?

MGK, ive never used one of those spinpro trimmer, but i found this video online that has inspired me to make a homemade trimmer out of a box fan.

looks like a good way to easily rough trim everything before you hang it, and after its dry. the final trimming will be way easier.
