SD @ 74 days

DAWN Vado, those room shots look killer.

I swear most of these sours (mostly bottom row, top row has sour & chem-4 & Cheezle) seem behind schedule to me, they just don't look 19 days in, but maybe it's because my other grow of them used 12/1 lighting, or maybe it's because they were fresh transplants at the flip & still kinda small, or maybe I'm just imagining it?? I dunno, 70 days from the flip would be 20 days before I need to hand over my key so......

VADO, that room looks amazing bro. Be proud, those ladies look super healthy. I cannot wait to see a late flower shot:tiphat:

Smoking heavy after a long day. Alternating between Sour and D to keep elevated.

Howdy Tri State Tokerzzzzzz. I thought I'd stop by and wish everyone well. Nice to see you MP! Things are still pretty groovy here not much new just digging this warm weather. My lil closet is doing well, I've been still growing out my mad scientist crosses and having fun. If any of you all are college hoops fans root for UMass in the NIT tomorrow and watch the game, watching Chaz Williams is usually worth the price of admission, the kid got game. Enjoy the weather people and stay safe and very very stoned.........

Rudedude, always a pleasure having you check in!
Go Minutemen! :D

Is it spring yet? NO?
I added a 2nd 600w to my grow just in time for the heat.
Shut one down when I just went over to pull the A/C out, and it was 90 in the tent. :toohot:
It's gonna take me a few to figure out how to hook this portable A/C up effectively.

Anyhow, hope everyone's coping with heat issues just fine and getting out and enjoying the great weather!

I'm about to pick up a couple 14,000 btu LG portable units, gotta figure out how to use the well window for 2 rooms. Figuring I'll just have to piggy back the 2nd portable lines into the first, just before the window.. Here's to hoping it works

So excited. Just bought a co2 burner! Now I just have to figure out how to hook it up. I have a Fuzzy Logic, but I thought I read somewhere that doesn't work with this. I'm going to read the instructions. He gave me a free tank of propane.

Nice. You can use the Fuzzy Logic! You just switch it from "Fuzzy Logic" control mode to ON/OFF control mode. Wish me luck boys.

HL, your best option to keep the room cool without adding the heat of your portable AC is put the thing on the outside of the room and just run a 6'' duct into the room from it. This step include a little extra work but its very easy, Just get a rely switch that hooks up to a plug and a thermastat plug the portable AC into the plug connected to the relay switch and place your thermastat in the grow room, your now able to control the inside temp of your grow enviornment while running the AC from the outside of the room....Let me know if your actually interested in a idea like that and I'll be much more technical about it, its very simple just to let you know....

Best of luck Jeeyah and be careful....

So I was playing around with the new camera trying to figure out how to take better pics and I had a break through (at least for me) i thought these were some nice shots, big thanks to Vadski's for hooking me up with this stuff, nothing like some beavis and butthead and rips of cocaine at 7 in the morning, cocaine OG that is :), this stuff is certainly strong chaco, nice find!

HL, because I am digging playing with new camera and the things was lying close by here is a picture of what I was talking about, less overwhelming when you see it....Let me know if your interested in building one it's simple and I can easily walk you thru it, plus it'll last for a long time, I've been using this one for 4-5 years easily....

Nice one on the camera, Otto, good macro feature.
In the past, I've put the A/C right into my tent, putting a "Y" in my vent and pulling the heat out that way.
My vent goes up into the attic through a trap door access.
This time I'm going to vent it up thru the trap door via it's own hole, and rig it up to the tent window flap, velcro-ing Permaflect material to the A/C opening.
I can control it pretty good but an interior thermostat would be pretty boss!
See if I can make it work like that before I pick yer brain on that rig.
:)

I can't help calling it Kocaine Kush. :D

Ah, no worries I have a huge mom of the Lucy version.I like kocaine kush too.Highlighter noticed right away what I meant when he opened the bag, the stuff is awesome. The hash from the trim is despicable and wicked strong.I placed the big lucy mom into a 20gal pot and I'll veg for another 20 days the I'll flip her.She has an incredible yield of dense, rock hard buds, leaning more to an SFV cross like the CC, orangy/citrus, some like it better than the other.I'm going to wait unti I'm back from "vacation" in May to decide when to germ the rest of the Lucy F2's.I'll have about 3-6 plants going drip to waste while I waltz around the world for a bit...

Hey my buddy just picked up a 5 tier hanging mesh dry rack, anyone have experience using racks instead of hanging? I'm thinking well probable hang colas, and maybe smaller buds go thru the spin pro & onto the racks. I've never dried off the stems before tho, so I guess that's my area of concern, don't want em drying too fast.

Just curious, what is everyones drying process? Does anyone hang large sections of the plant to try & slow drying down to 2 weeks? I like to leave a good amount of stem on em, but I'm usually ready for jars / burping after 9 days.

Jeeyah,

Good luck with the co2. Make sure to be careful calibrating the machine accurately and constantly check the co2 levels at first to make sure they are within safe limits. You may even want a secondary co2 monitor in case your burner's sensor is miscalculated. Follow the calibration instructions to a T and you should be fine.

Usually they have you put the sensor inside (without you in there) so it can adjust to the air climate of your location - just make sure no one is breathing near it during calibration.

A good way to also test the (Off Switch) which turns off the co2 burner when you reach your desired amount of PPM - is to breath on the sensor - it should jump up dramatically and turn off the burner - thinking the room hit the turn off point. Helpful testing/maintenance tip =]

But you will see a lot more production with co2, just remember your plants metabolism is going to speed up so whether good or bad - the results will happen at a much more rapid rate.

You can also run your temps at 5-6°F hotter than usual while using co2, without issues.

Thanks. I did some research and found out I really shouldn't use it until next run. I'm in my last week. Apparently people don't use it there last few weeks of flowering.

Total impulse buy!

The end of another summer day out here.Bizzare weather, I've never worn a t-shirt outside in March except once in 1999! I had half my lamps off in this room today, if I end up ruining this Candy due to heat I'll be pissed to say the least.the nightime temps are great and using no heat is great too but by about 8hrs into my 12/12 cycle it starts heating up too much...Nothing a little NE wind can't fix...The plant on the right is my cheezl cut at 25 days 12/12.This thing loads up fast....
picture.php

Hey the cheezle likes to roll at it's margins huh! Sweet, I was worried it was me :)

TB, per the recommendation of mandala I stopped hanging long ago unless I've taken down too much, which I strip of fans & then hang until it is very dry. I like trimming fresh but if not then I find waiting until it is fully dried makes trimming bearable again. But anyways, I'm not exactly a weed connoisseur like you guys so I can't comment on the smoke & taste but I find that trimming it all down to final nug size (ie off the stem) & then rack drying it gives noticeably better colors & smell. Ready for bags faster is an added bonus as well. When I want to sample some bud I actually break it all up wet, leave it on a table, & it's ready to smoke the next day.

OK guys, my chem-d has thrown two (presumably sterile) nanners from some cola's over the past few days..... normal, or do I have something environmental going on that I should be concerned about?
